THE FIREPLACE CONNECTION

The store was visited several time, first in December, when it was very busy. I listened to the people ahead of me, asking the same questions I was going to ask and knew there was information needed ( measurements of my fireplace). When I returned the second time, I was able to select the units in the store, and schedule the install. They did an amazing job, and when I inspected the room after the install, no problems. I was told the chimney was in great shape, and the install had no issues. Recently I needed to replace the firebricks lining the inside of the stove ( the only service besides cleaning out the ash and pipes). I called, placed the order and replaced these bricks myself.

Installers scratched the paint on surround and simply  "spot" painted it with black paint. That made noticeable black spots on the surround. They also broke a firebox brick which is made out of fire resistant kelp, not stone. They promised to replace it but never did. The real issue the owner of the store, he is very unprofessional and doesn't quite understand or care about having satisfied customers. He behavior is rude, angry and frankly a little scary. I would NOT hire this company. I subsequently had another stove install and choose a different company.

THEY WERE ON TIME, FIXED IT & TOLD ME HOW TO CORRECT A PROBLEM THAT I HAD WITH THE FLUE WITHOUT ME HAVING TO SPEND EXTRA MONEY. VERY HELPFUL & KIND.
