"We have been very pleased with Green Valley Landscaping. The owner, Omar, is very attentive, honest and quality-conscious. His employees are polite and hard-working. Our grounds have never looked better, and the pricing is always fair. We highly recommend Green Valley."

"We have used GMB in the past and on this occasion we just moved into a new home and had 11 new recessed lights , new center lights, and closet light installed. We needed the work done prior to moving in. They went out of their way to rush and rearranged their schedule to accomodate me, starting promptly at 7am (as they said they would). Everything was completed so we could finish moving into our new home the same day, with no interruption. The workmanship was great (My wife and daughter were all smiles) and there was no mess to clean up after. Given the fact they had to rip up all the floorboards in the attic and drill all the light holes, I would have expected something.
The value, quality, and professionalism at a fair price cannot be beaten. I very rarely make recommendations but based upon my experience(s) , I will continue to do business with the company and highly recommend them to others as a first choice.

"Make sure you get an upfront price and don t let them get away with I don t know until the serviceman gets there. The serviceman moved a bulb from one socket to another and the light went on. One ballast was dead the other ok. Ask what I owe you and he tells me a service call is $225. I exclaimed really! Well then, give me $150.00, which I did. Will never use them again."

Exterior Lighting questions, answered by experts

While most general electricians can repair lamps and light fixtures, it is often better to hire a lamp repair specialist. Many electricians prefer larger jobs, such as fixing electrical systems or relocating fixtures, and may not offer lamp repair services due to the small scale of the work. Additionally, some lamps, particularly antique models, require dedicated expertise that a general electrician might not have. A lamp repair specialist will be familiar with various types of fixtures and can provide a more dedicated service. If you have already hired an electrician for a larger project, you can ask them to look at your lamp, but for a standalone repair, a specialist is typically the best option.

Common outdoor lighting issues include faulty or exposed wiring, burnt-out or damaged bulbs, and broken or faulty fixtures. Regular maintenance can help prevent many of these problems.

The cost to repair outdoor lighting typically ranges from $100 to $400. The final price depends on the severity of the damage, the specific issue, the type of lighting system, and the parts needed. Some repairs are priced per fixture, averaging $100 to $300, and there may be additional fees if the lighting is difficult to access.

To maintain your outdoor lighting and prevent major issues, you should regularly clean the fixtures, inspect the wiring and connections, and replace worn or burnt-out bulbs promptly. These simple steps ensure consistent operation and extend the life of your lighting system.

Options include pathway lights, spotlights, and smart lighting systems. Choose based on function and aesthetics.
