" I called for gutter cleaning and setting up an appt was easy. It's so nice to actually get someone live and not talk to a machine. I was told that they'd come within two weeks.
A crew came in about a week and a half.  They were quick, efficient, and did an excellent job on our really full, nasty gutters.
We used AAA a few years back, and we'll definitely use them again.

"This was a tough winter scheduling wise because during the time frame when this would usually happen there was a deep freeze making cleaning impossible. There was quite a bit of backup, but they did politely keep me posted by email updates, and when they did get here they were courteous, thorough and cleaned up. There rates are great. Much cheaper than the competition."

Small jobs welcome

"I am so happy. Wonderful job and fast, done by Jose and his partner cleaning of my gutters and fixing a snow cable on my roof. These were the best gutter cleaners I ever had and very nice. Hire them, you will not be sorry. I will be hiring them again! Great job! And the price was great. And they clean a lot more besides gutters, such as windows, etc!"

"Update: received a call from the company indicating they had seen the original review (below) and were coming out to fix the problem. They arrived the next day, and I explained the problem. Everything was fixed within 30 minutes or so. They explained all the work was under warranty if there are any problems. I should have simply called the company in the first place to ask if they could come out to fix it. I am impressed that they were motivated to correct a problem without me even contacting them directly. I think that is rare these days.

Was not home when work was done. One side looks ok and works fine. The other side had a single screw through the gutter and into the fascia to correct the pitch (I guess). This screw ripped out of the fascia at some point during/after installation. I'm guessing more than a single screw should have been used or it should have been at the correct pitch with the straps that hold the gutter and are screwed in beneath the shingles. Slight sag in the middle of gutter holds some water now, so will need to be fixed.
Overall, the job looks rushed, gutters twisted a bit and the fittings between gutter and downspouts are slightly misaligned. Better work was done by this company in a previous job when they did gutters on the house. Maybe just a less experienced crew for this smaller job?"

Gutter Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Pressure washing isn’t the only way to clean your gutters. Use a hose and a long-handled brush if you aren’t afraid of a little elbow grease. Alternatively, set up a stable ladder and scrub by hand with a brush. It’s also possible to purchase gutter wand extensions for hoses or a gutter vacuum if you don’t mind the investment. These help clean thoroughly without you having to scale a ladder.

The most common problem with gutters is clogging from debris like leaves, blossoms, and seeds from surrounding trees. This debris can block downspouts, leading to improper drainage and water overflow.

Other common issues include:

  • Leaks and holes, which can often be repaired with gutter sealant or caulk.

  • Rust, sagging, or detachment from the roofline.

  • Damage from strong storms.

  • Improperly pitched gutters that don't drain correctly.

Regular cleaning in the spring and fall is the best way to prevent most of these problems. You may need to clean them more often during periods of heavy leaf fall.

Usually 1-2 hours, depending on gutter length and condition.

You can clean the gutters on a two-story house using gutter tongs on an extension pole. However, cleaning second-story gutters from a ladder or the roof is very dangerous and should be done by a professional.

Any small amount of standing water can be damaging to your gutters. It’s recommended that a ¼ inch puddle or more should be addressed. Failure to keep water from pooling in your gutters can result in clogs, algae growth, and pests that damage your gutters over time.
