I reached out to O'LYN roofing for a slate roof repair. The sales representative were very knowledgeable and the pricing in the contract was very fair. When I had a problem with the slate breaking a few months after. They came back to repair the roof, free of charge.

The slate roof tiles the company installed blew off 5 months later. Difficult to get company to come out and repair the damage. Very unprofessional.

Awesome! Everyone on site was personable and polite. Every precaution was to protect the property during the work and clean up was immaculate. Work started at 7:30 and was completed at 3:00. The supervisor Rick answered any questions i had and kept me posted throughout the day.

Very honest and candid about my gutter project. I live in a historical home with built in gutters. The O’Lyn crew was able to replace the old gutters with new Fiberglas gutters and cover them. I will no longer have to clean and oil my gutters and they match perfectly with the rest of the homes architecture. Perfect job and I will use O’Lyn for all my roofing and gutter needs.

The crew arrived early in the morning and completed the entire job in one day. Rick the job manager was very helpful and took the time to answer any questions that I had. I would highly recommend O'lyn Roofing and could not be more pleased with how my new roof turned out.

The sales process was long and frustrating (sales person walk-around, then power point presentation pitch, etc.) - but that seems to be standard in the industry. They have polished materials and seem to have quality approach. The sales person was a very knowledgeable, kind man and we signed the agreement to have the work done on the last business day of 2019. I wanted to wait to have the work done until Spring when it wasn't raining or snowing, and they had to order the custom skylight, so we arranged for the work to be done in March. The job was one of the last before construction limitations imposed due to COVID-19. Scheduling was nice and easy with the main office, and they both delivered materials and arrived to do the work as scheduled. The on-site project manager was knowledgeable and they had a relatively large team for my relatively small house (perhaps because they didn't have many jobs for that day). Overall they were efficient and did a good job, communicating where there were roof boards to be replaced (at extra cost) as they exposed the roof. I noticed after the job that the front gutters weren't replaced, and the project manager pointed out the limited gutter scope in our agreement. The company made good and came back to finish replacing those components. The clean-up was done same-day using a dumpster they had delivered that morning and removed the next morning promptly. There were some stray pieces of debris left, but overall they were very thorough. After the job they sent cookies as a "thank you". I would hire them again.

O’Lyn was very professional. They were able to get in to get me an estimate the week of Christmas (I found the hole in the roof Christmas Eve). They immediately got me on the schedule and replaced the roof in a day the next week. Very prompt and professional during the whole process.

Excellent, the gentleman Mike came and explained a lot to me, he check the roof all out, told the truth about not knowing about boards underneath that may need to be replaced, Which I understood cause if you don't see it you don't know. He took the time with me because I had a ton of questions. I had checked with other companies it seemed they didn't want our business or they could have cared less. This business is a family owned and coming from one myself, I felt it was the right thing to stay with the family business. The actually work was done quicker than expected, and there wasn't a piece of roofing or nail in the driveway to puncture a tire. They were neat, efficient, and hard working men. I would recommend them to anyone. My dad always said fix it right the first time, band aids just lead to more problems. I would like to submit a phone yet I don't have a final one yet, (slow on the ball) I have to say neighbors all say it looks beautiful, the color picked out, (suggested by sales man Mike) went perfect with the brick on front of garage. Please at least call them have them come talk to you, there guarantee is amazing, and product is top notch

They made one large patch - it looked good at the start - but the edges are not sealed and by now there is water under the patch. They also made a smaller patch that developed a large bubble and was then chewed up by some animals. They would not fix that without asking for additional (quite steep) payment. (We hired another company to fix it - no luck there either.) They claimed it was not in the original contract and the person they sent is did it as an extra. They replaced this roof about ten years ago - in spite of the bad sloping that created a large pool after every rain, the roof did not leak until now. As the animals got the taste of the rubber, they now chewed real holes in the roof. - We will hire someone else to get the job done right.

The team arrived early and began work right away. The site manager was very helpful and answered all of my questions. O'Lyn also had another worker who was not assigned to this job come and remove the blinds on my skylights so that they could be replaced. The clean-up worker was quite thorough and checked over any areas that had nails or that I requested to be re-checked. I found a few nails/screws after the job was complete, but there was snow on the ground during the work period which made it difficult to find every last nail. Overall I am very pleased with O'lyn's work.

Miserable. Salesman pressured with a "discount if you sign right now." Wrote a contract to replace 27 slate tiles. Lied to insurance company, saying he'd identified this with a lift. Insurance folks photographed roof. Only needed 4 tiles. Salesman wouldn't let me out of the contract, saying we'd "settle up" at the end. (Instead, while waiting for this, the company slapped a Mechanic's Lien on my property.) What else ? I signed at summer's end. They promised October or November. I chased them until late December. They finally offered to come in January, (when salesman had told me that a steep, slate roof cannot be done well in winter). Work was finally finished (maybe) in July.

From my initial meeting with the sales rep to the final installation, they did an outstanding job. They went above and beyond the call on all aspects of this multi day project.
