"While the quality of work and clean up performed by the crew was outstanding and Iâ m pleased with the finished product the crew didnâ t arrive until almost 11 and didnâ t leave until 9 PM. While I appreciate the goal of a new bathtub/shower replaced in as little as a day working until 9 PM is not acceptable. When setting up the appointment it needs to be stated very clearly what the expectations are for the day. As I said, Iâ m very happy with the finished product but 20k which includes no installation cost is way too much for what was actually provided."
"I really cannot say enough good things about our experience with Kinsella! For starters, we had gone through NINETEEN other contractors before we found Kinsella. Many said the job was too big or too small, but a half dozen of them said they could/would do the job, and then totally ghosted during the quoting process. In hindsight, I am so glad that they did so that we could end up with Kinsella. The whole Kinsella team was so kind, professional, punctual every day, did PHENOMENAL work, and always took the time to answer any questions we had and explain to us in detail what was going on in the project. They even provided some guidance for us for other changes we plan to make to our home in the future. For our project, they removed a load bearing wall and installed a 22' beam, removed/moved/replaced electrical according to the removed wall, removed the old electrical baseboard heaters in the home, added recessed lighting, and installed a center kitchen island with electrical hook ups. (Please note, per our choice, the scope of our project did not include paint, flooring, or island countertop installation. That's why the photos I attached have the space still "unfinished"). The work they did was so perfect, it looks like there was never a wall there. The way they explained the structural changes and even pointed out (and corrected!) some issues with the original build of our home made us so confident in the work they were doing. Even the inspectors were very complimentary. Our contractor communicated excellently through every step. The owner of the group was in constant contact. From day 1, they made it so clear how much they cared and how seriously they took the job. I really can't say enough good things about them."

"We hit the lottery with John and his team. They were totally professional but also personable. They came every day and, by and large, did not use sub contractors, so that we got to know the folks that were in out house for weeks and weeks. Gary, who was in charge of our project, was beyond amazing. We did a gut to the studs in our 1939 kitchen and in less than 7 weeks from start to finish they transformed it into something the 21st century can be proud of. They were neat and respectful throughout the process. Their work reflected attention to the smallest details. "We acquired a condominium on the 2nd floor of a 2 family house in Arlington. MA. The existing hardwood floors were beyond repair and we wanted to add a 2nd bathroom. In addition we wanted to integrate the existing sun porch into the living room to more than recover the area lost to the new bathroom, and install central A/C. We had estimates from three other contractors before we met with Pedro from Crystal Renovations. His pricing was very competitive relative to the other contractors, but that was mostly due to the others trying to add work that we didn't want or need. Pedro listened to what we wanted and worked with us to accomplish it. From the very beginning of the project until the end Pedro was always responsive and answered, emails, texts, and phone messages in a very timely fashion. He and his crew and subs were a pleasure to work with and any issues that arose were dealt with in a calm and professional manner. Before and during the project Pedro made several design suggestions such as recessed lighting on the sun porch, shower stall light, and new bath layout that definitely improved on our original thoughts. In the end the project came in on time and with a very small increase to the original estimate despite some challenges he and his crew had to work through.
