While I appreciate the goal of a new bathtub/shower replaced in as little as a day working until 9 PM is not acceptable. When setting up the appointment it needs to be stated very clearly what the expectations are for the day. As I said, Iâ m very happy with the finished product but 20k which includes no installation cost is way too much for what was actually provided."

He came to the house the first Saturday after my e-mail and met with my husband and me. He said he could do the job but that it would make better sense for us financially to divide the work into smaller projects and farm them out to specialists. For example, he recommended that we pick out a new flooring at Lowe's and have Lowe's install it. If he had his crew install the same floor, he would charge us much more. "The house we bought had an existing, partially finished, unpermitted basement. We hired Crystal Renovations to re-do the space so it would be functional, more in line with our taste & permitted. They made the laundry room an actual room as opposed to a basement area with a washer & dryer, took down the drop ceiling & replaced it with a real ceiling, took out the 1984 glass block surround to the shower & replaced with drywall, repaired stairs going down to the area & laid new floor throughout. Pedro & his crew were incredibly efficient - the whole process took around 10 days. We were fortunate & they didn’t run into any unforeseen issues once all the demo was done, so the final cost was in line with what had been quoted & the modifications we agreed to.
