"Hired Bay State to take out my old bathtub and shower and replace it with a new walk-in shower. Fabio, the installer, and Daniel, his helper, were excellent! Very professional, efficient and took an eye sore of a bathroom and made it a gorgeous place to take a shower in now. From the beginning, everyone I dealt with were friendly, helpful and professional. Jim, the design consultant, helped us decide on what we wanted and how we were going to get it accomplished. The owner, Jen, was helpful in explaining some things we weren't too sure about and the girls in the office, Sarah and Destiny, were pleasant and patient as we had to re-schedule several times for various reasons on our own part. Bay State accomodated us at every turn. It's a rarity these days to find customer service like they have here. It was a bit expensive but you also get what you pay for. The craftsmanship was excellent and the product itself is top notch. It is MADE IN THE USA, also!"

"Jeff Veglia and his team did a great job on my condo renovation after we suffered extensive damage from a water leak. The project included a complete kitchen remodel, custom cabinets, plumbing, electrical, ceramic tiles, and all new plaster walls. Also replaced were dining room, living room and bedroom hardwood floors, and new plaster ceiling and vinyl flooring in the basement. "Joe gave me a quote on a bathroom remodel and repairing some drywall in another room. It was a pretty close call but I ended up deciding on another contractor. I had confidence that Joe would have done a good job for what that's worth. The quote was pretty reasonable but didn't include any materials or trash removal (not sure how much that would have been). Of the 4 quotes that I got he was the only one who suggested I hire someone else to replace the windows. While not a big deal I thought maybe that was a little odd. Although I did respect that he said that wasn't an area of expertise and he'd be happy to work with whoever i hired for the windows. The estimated time for completion of the project was on the long end as well so if you're on a tight schedule this might be a consideration. Overall, I would consider Joe for any future projects."

He came to the house the first Saturday after my e-mail and met with my husband and me. He said he could do the job but that it would make better sense for us financially to divide the work into smaller projects and farm them out to specialists. For example, he recommended that we pick out a new flooring at Lowe's and have Lowe's install it. If he had his crew install the same floor, he would charge us much more. We think he gave us excellent advice and are following it.
