"I called Horizon after moving into a new home in Medway and having no idea what condition the chimney was in. They sent a team out the same day! The guys were great - very friendly and professional. They looked everything over, informed us that one chimney needed to be cleaned but the other did not, and some of the brick work was loose on the fireplace floor. I also requested a chimney cap and they suggested strengthening part of the chimney before installing. They provided an estimate within 24 hours and came out about a week later to do the work. Again, they were completely professional, pleasant and somehow despite cleaning the chimney and doing masonry work, did not create any dust or mess in the house. I was so pleased that I asked them to put us on a yearly schedule for routine cleaning. I highly recommend!"

"My chimney was not in good condition. The sun was shining through between the bricks, not up to code and no cap in place. Gordy repointed the entire chimney, extended the flue to bring it up to code, installed a cap and swept/cleaned it. Gordy is a very nice guy and did good work for a reasonable price. "The owner told me he would point areas of the chimney and did not until I called back and had him return. When he did return he did a sloppy job and used non matching cement which makes my chimney look like it was done by an inexperienced slob. In addition after inspecting it more closely in November I realized he missed a lot of areas. I patched the rest myself and did a far superior job (and I have never done this work in my life!) The cap looks good and the crown is done but the re-pointing was a real disappointment"
