AARON'S CHIMNEY SERVICE

Overall everything went well, but I found it difficult to schedule the second appointment for the installation of the cap.  It kept being rescheduled.

They did a fine job and I would use them again

My experience with Aaron's chimney service was excellent all around. I contacted them in Nov./Dec. - their busiest season, and I still got a call back within 24-48hrs, and they came out within a week to inspect our chimney flues. The price for inspection is $99, which they said would be waived if any of the flues needed cleaning. Only one flue needed cleaning, so I was charged $150 total for all three flue inspections and one flue cleaning. They were very upfront about price, and followed through with what they said. There were no changes or additional fees. The two men that came out were very professional, they were very careful with all our things and they were careful to cover up the carpeting around the fireplace before cleaning. They recommended some work that we need done, and they gave us all the options (the more affordable, 7-10 year solutions, and the more expensive, lifetime guarantee solutions) and followed up within a week with a detailed report of all work done and all issues that might need fixing in the future (some more urgent than others). They were very honest and clear about what they found, and never made us feel pressured about getting the recommended work done through them (but we will). We have had several contractors here this past year to inspect/repair/paint/etc.(we just purchased our home 8 months ago), and by far Aaron's chimney service was the best of the bunch. I would highly recommend them for chimney/roof work, and now with all the snow we are getting this year, they just sent us an email letting us know that they offer snow removal/ice dam removal too. I would definitely have them back out for this or any other type of work involving roof/chimney maintenance.

The owner told me he would point areas of the chimney and did not until I called back and had him return. When he did return he did a sloppy job and used non matching cement which makes my chimney look like it was done by an inexperienced slob. In addition after inspecting it more closely in November I realized he missed a lot of areas. I patched the rest myself and did a far superior job (and I have never done this work in my life!) The cap looks good and the crown is done but the re-pointing was a real disappointment

Called ahead, showed up on time, very efficient, helpful in explaining and friendly. Did a good job and cleaned up well. Observed other chimney problems, explained them and left a propsal. No high pressure tactics, quite professional. Very pleased overall.

Excellent -- very thorough, and "consultative" in their approach.

Called 3 chimney sweep/repair companies. Aaron's 2-man crew was the only 1 to visit premises to provide estimate. When I found a discount on their website they reduced the estimate without a hassle. Work was done within an hour at the date/time specified. Mark invited me to inspect the work before we finalized payment and receipt.

Received a call. Arranged to have the work done and it was done within a week from the time I called.

Aaron was prompt, theyt did a great job overall, but I thought it was kind of expensive. He did say that I received an in town discount, as I live in same town as his business **Please note: I am not aware of the current Chimney Sweeping Prices. This may be a fair price. Again, the work was great.

They came quickly and did the job quickly and well.

The project took one full day Aaron came with one assistant and they worked from 9 am until 7 pm. They didn't have one of the parts they needed for the liner, so they had to go back and get it, but other than that they seemed very conscientious. At the end they explained everything they had done.
