ALLEN PAVING CO INC

We and neighbors are working on joint effort to have our street and driveways paved. A lengthy process but almost all on board. They are ALL our choice for this job. They by far beat others by their professionalism and honesty. They were not the cheapest but felt the work they do would far exceed the others....and as I said the recommendation we got was very good

Selby Asphalt Maintenance Inc

It looks great. They came, they did the job, and they were reasonably priced. I had used somebody else about five years ago that was not good, but they are good. Michael Shelby is fair, honest and did a good job. I wish it was a little bit cheaper, but I got what I paid for.

Jet-Black Sealcoating & Repair
5.0
The crew showed up at the date and time promised. Filled the few cracks in the driveway with a sealant. Applied the coating neatly and quickly. The coating lasted 3 years (harsh Minnesota winters!) before needing a re-coating. They promised 2-4 years. Good value for the price paid. I recommend Jet-Black and would use them again. Work was performed at my then Shakopee, MN home

I called this company in Early March to come and seal my driveway because they were recommended. He came out that day and gave a price for my neighbor and my driveway if he could do both. It is now the end of May. I have called in 4 times about the work. The response I get is that we are at the top of his list and he will call. He told me in March when he quoted the job that it would be in the beginning of April. He may do good work, but I cannot get him to do the work he quoted and told me would not be a problem to do. I have to call him to get any information. He finally showed up in my driveway in July and stated that he was sorry for the delay and realized I had already had it done

LIPPS PAVING LLC

This is regarding a residential asphalt driveway sealant product and service. Unfinished product delivery. Unfinished service delivery. Poor product quality/poor application of product. Unresponsive to customer. Poor customer service. Does not answer phone. Does not act on messages left on their answering machine. Does not return phone calls. Extremely slow response (28 days) to initial customer order. Order placed Sept. 19, 2012; partial and unacceptable product delivered Oct. 17, 2012. Lipps does not/will not state or commit to finishing order. Lipps states/uses excuses for their failure to perform (other jobs; other customers; limited work in this area; weather; etc.). Lipps needs to finish their product application. This is an asphalt sealing job, which they have not completed. Winter weather/adverse weather is approaching, which will further deteriorate their poor, partial job, and which will damage the asphalt underneath for which this sealing product service was ordered, which Lipps stated would offer 2 or 3 years of protection. Full payment was prepared on Sept. 20, 2012, and given to Lipps employee on October 17, 2012, when they finally showed to do part of the job. The check was cashed by Lipps a few days later. The sealant application Lipps did was sloppy, incomplete, and also walked on by one of their employees. All of this resulted in unfinished seal, exposed untreated areas of the driveway, spillage on house, foundation, garage doors, and wooden lawn decor. In addition, the job they partially did looks/appears sloppy, poor

"I'm very pleased. I had concerns about dust and fumes from the epoxy. The dust was minimal and fumes were not an issue at all. If I had to do it all over again, I'd set up a box fan with filters, as I've seen on YouTube, but even without that, the dust was not overwhelming. The workers arrived on time, explained what they were going to do and welcomed my checking in on them. When they went to lunch, they cleaned up their work area, (even put the toilet seat down in the basement bathroom), something I didn't expect at all. I had questions when they were at lunch, and the salesman got the answers I needed quickly. A couple of things I would change about this process: 1. After they were done, cleaned the area for the day, and put their equipment away, one of the workers invited me downstairs to approve their work. If I had not approved, it was a bit late for me to object as they were packed and ready to go. I suggest in the future the homeowner be asked for their approval before everything's packed up. Their work looked good, but this seemed like a manipulative tactic that wasn't appreciated. 2. The more experienced of the two workers explained early on that he needed to remove some insulation but assured me he'd put it back when he was done. When I saw that he'd not put it back, I mentioned it. He refused to put it back, saying "It doesn't matter". It was an odd way to end a perfect job up to that point. I was totally pleased with how everything was handled, and then that comment and behavior from him just put a bad taste in my mouth. That evening or the next day, I received a very nice gift from the company that was just a really nice touch. A couple of weeks later, we had heavy rains and I experienced water along the walls where the work was done. Within a week of me raising the concern, an arrangement for a technician to visit my home was made. I appreciate their prompt attention to the matter. I expect it's very simple like needing more epoxy at the base of the straps, so I decided to go ahead and submit this review. It's difficult to find trustworthy people to do work in your home. I'm very relieved I found a company that is totally worthy of that trust and highly recommend Acculevel. The work they did looks good and solid.

"Warmzone has been very responsive. However, the installers made mistakes installing the system and when they went to correct it, somehow caused damage that made the system inoperable. They had to come back a year later and redo it. Now it works pretty good. Every time I've had questions Warmzone has been very responsive. i would use them again--but use their recommended installers and not my contractors who did it last time.
One caveat: The system doesn't always work perfectly in very cold weather with fast accumulating snow. We have old-fashioned clay brick pavers. Next time I'll send Warmzone a sample of the pavers so that they can test for the power needed to operate the system effectively.
But--they sell a great product and they're very helpful to deal with. They'll get right on the phone with you and troubleshoot, even long after the sale.

"We called and talked to David and said that he would come out that evening. David arrived about 6:30 and after about an hour looking over the house inside he gave us a price of $2000.00 which was for labor only, which I felt very feasibly. We wanted to purchase the paint ourselves which was fine with David. David gave a time when he could start based on the weather since he was painting a house on the outside and we have had a number of days of rain. David called the Friday before and said that he would have to have another week to finish up the job that was on the outside, fine with us, as it rained 5 days out of seven, he called and again the rain had still put him behind. Again that was fine as I landed in the hospital for 4 days. David called the Sunday I got out and he could start Monday if all was well with us. Monday he got there in the AM as promised. I had been in the construction business for 30 years, and I will tell you that David has a great touch with a paint brush; he can cut in and paint with an extreme steady hand. We had one wall that my wife and I used to test different paints for color, well I did not prime over them, I asked David if I should prime he said no that the paint should cover very well (that?s what it said on the can) to his surprise and my it did not cover, it took five coats, David did not complain about have to go over it that many times. I will rate D&A as a very professional Company, David work?s by himself which was ok as then we did not have to worry about (someone spilling paint and stepping in it and the other workers laughing at him as he stormed out leaving paint on floor where he stepped, like your TV ad).
