After having been told our compressor was bad and that we needed to spend over $5,000 on either a new AC unit, a new heat pump or possibly an entirely new system, we were in the process of getting estimates when New! Heating & Cooling came by. Zach offered to give us a 2nd opinion for $49 [Looks like std rate is $89 so they took pity on us]. So, with the prospect of spending thousands, we figured a 2nd opinion would be good to have. THANK GOODNESS we did!! $322 run capacitor replacement and BOOM! sub 62 degree air blowing thru system!! Just Wow! Went from zero air flow and stagnant ~87 degrees on our 1st floor (likely higher on 2nd floor) to a system blowing low 60 temps! Went from being told we needed to spend 5+ thousands of dollars to spending ~$371 for diagnostic, part and labor. What a relief. Just amazing. "Insulation guys were great but the windows are horrible. They let cold air in worse than our old windows. We called them and they finally came out and put a little strip of Insulation on them and they still let in cold air and whistle when the wind blows. We have called and left messages and no calls back. I wouldn't recommend Rolox windows to anyone. Paid around 1000$ per window and still cold air comes in. Never again."
