I am a Real Estate Consultant with the Shelly Walters Realty Group at FC Tucker Company Inc.. I pride myself in the knowledge that my clients are always so pleased with our professionalism and our continued commitment to always be accessible and respond to phone calls, texts and emails promptly. Top notch service and expertise is our number one goal. We know how important a decision it is to both buy and sell a home and we handle all transactions with the utmost care and high standard of ethics. The areas that we work in such as Carmel, Fishers, Noblesville, Westfield, Zionsville, Northern Indy as well as the Sweetwater/Cordry Lakes in Brown County are areas we consider ourselves to be experts in. We purposely do not advertise ourselves as Real Estate Agents that can provide our services just anywhere. We find it much more important to provide excellent service, information and guidance where we are extremely knowledgeable to best serve our client base. Referrals are a big part of our business because of our past clients trust in us. Staging--For all of our listings we provide staging free of charge. We feel that this is a huge benefit for sellers to enable them to sell their homes quickly and for the highest price. Buyers receive a free personal website to help them search for homes that fit their exact needs. Sellers receive an in depth market analysis to help them when deciding to sell their home. We help home owners lease their homes if they are not ready to sell. We also offer property management for our clients.

"Very professional, worked well and quick response times with paperwork, offers, appraisals, inspections, counter offers etc. We feel comfortable knowing that Shelly is our Real Estate agent."

BPG Property Inspection Services, your Indianapolis licensed home inspector of choice. State licensed and member of ASHI. Inspection services are backed by a 90-Day Guarantee, Superior Service Guarantee. Services Offered: Pre-Purchase Home Inspections and Commercial Building Inspections, Pre-Listing Home Inspections and Commercial Building Inspections, Termite Inspections, New Construction Phase Inspections, Radon Testing, Well and Septic Inspections and Certifications, Bacteria, Lead, Nitrate, Nitrite Well Water Testing.

"Our Inspector was not thorough at all. He turned the water on for the bathroom sink and then the shower in the front bathroom and when he did the water in the sink almost stopped flowing and he didn't notice that so I pointed it out to him and from that point he should have proceeded to ck the water flow in the rest of the house to see if the whole house had low flow issues but he didn't. The Inspector also noticed a flexible gas line off of the water heater that ran through the floor into the crawl and to a wall heater just on the other side of the wall and said it didn't have a ground on it but he would look at it in the crawl space but he didn't go over to where the flex gas line was. When he proceeded to the crawl space he only checked a very small part of the crawl with the largest areas of the crawl only accessible or visible through passthrough openings due to solid block support walls and this is a very easily accessible crawl space. I pointed out a wet looking spot on one of the block walls which was on the other end of the crawl from where we were and he wouldn't check into that and told me to ask the homeowner if they had and leakage issues in the crawl space so we had to get another crawl space inspection from another company 2 days later, and I'm sure the home owner would have said oh yeah you are gonna be screwed when it rains. No appliances were checked for proper operation. During the attic inspection he didn't see a switch for the attic light so he used his flashlight, I looked at the light to see why he didn't turn it on and I followed the cord up and over the door where it was plugged into a droplight that had no bulb or guard on it exposing a shock hazard and it was ran over to an outlet and plugged in so I pointed that out to him also because he didn't see it. The Inspector never found the Master bedroom and bath (unbelievable) that is in the back corner of the house down a hallway so none of that even got looked at. The $75 charge for a Septic Inspection consisted of turning on the kitchen sink faucet, putting the dye in the drain and immediately proceeded to make 1 pass around the property which he went well into the neighbors back yard and I had to tell him about that. This Inspector was extremely absent minded on this day. I did follow J.M. through this whole inspection process."

"The person performing the service had to make several trips because one of the "new" parts turned out to be faulty. I found both Complete Protection and their local repair contractor to be both very responsive and totally professional at every stage of the repair process."

"I had a bad computer board in my oven. they said they would not cover it because they found a roach. This is Florida we have some roaches. i do not have a bug problem. It has nothing to do with a bad computer board. This company looks for a way to deny claims. i had one other claim and they tried to deny it as well. Save yourself some agravation and stay away. They must post their own positive reviews. They took my $65.00 fee and did nothing"

Home Warranties questions, answered by experts

Yes, many repairs include warranty service if the unit is still under coverage. Confirm with your provider.

Many HVAC manufacturers provide warranties that encompass the cost of a new compressor, with durations ranging from 5 to 10 years, depending on the brand. These warranties cover critical components such as the compressor, condenser, connecting tubing, evaporator, and refrigerant charge. Moreover, they often include the necessary labor for replacement or repairs. Keep in mind that premium-brand compressors may offer lifetime warranty options. It's essential to note that these warranties rarely cover labor costs.

Most homeowners insurance policies do not cover termite damage since it’s considered preventable damage. Termite damage is not considered sudden or accidental—it can happen over long periods of time and can be prevented. Proactive pest control and annual termite inspections are the best way to prevent expensive termite damage repair costs.

Offering a home warranty when selling can make your property more appealing to potential buyers. The warranty gives them peace of mind that many systems or appliances will be covered if they need to be repaired or replaced in the near future. Additionally, the home warranty may cover problems that arise during the home sale, such as a leaky roof or water in the basement.

While a work warranty covers contractor repairs post-construction, a home warranty acts as a safety net against future breakdowns and unexpected expenses. Home warranties provide discounted repairs and replacements for essential home systems like plumbing and electricity in exchange for an annual fee.

While home warranties can provide a welcome safety net to some homeowners, they’re not a guarantee. The cost of a home warranty might not always be worth it. Other homeowners may be better off stocking away those funds in an emergency savings account in order to cover the cost of unexpected home repairs.
