"First of all this company is not a scam. We have been in business over 60 years. We have an "A+" rating with the BBB and an "A+" rating with Angie's List. Also we have received their Super Service Award for the past 10 - 15 years. That is a huge accomplishment. Our tech went out and did pull his tools out and did remove the main control board housing and saw that there was a blown capacitor on the main board, that to me sounds like he did diagnose it. You see my tech's know what their doing. just because he wasn't there all afternoon does not mean he "guessed" He told the customer what he found and told him he left the control unplugged since it wasn't working anyway. Customer asked if he would plug it back in that he may sell it. How you sell something that doesn't work is beyond me. So he went behind the unit again took it back apart and plugged the board back in. That takes more than 10 minutes. The reason he has not heard back from us is because we have not heard back from the company. Yes his unit is built in China and I am sorry but it really is a very low end piece of equipment. The company is terrible to deal with and to get parts is even a bigger joke. As far as just wanting to collect the service call, well I wish I could keep this business running by collecting service calls all day. The truth is we make nothing collecting service calls, we make our money by repairing appliances. Yes we want to repair your appliances so we can make money. We as a company run over 100 calls a day and our tech's know what they are doing, that is why they can get in and get out and onto the next call. "We received a letter about the installation of the dishwasher. We all got a real good laugh out of it. [Member Name Removed] pretty much wished everything evil and short of death on us all. The name calling was a real hoot too. Yes it was our fault and we would have corrected the error as we would for any mistakes we make. HOLD ON!!... ... .we made a mistake?? There is no way we made a mistake, we are perfect! All fun aside we do make mistakes, we are not perfect. We all make mistakes every day, even [Member Name Removed]. Unfortunately [Member Name Removed] purchased an overseas dishwasher, and not a very good one at that. Terrible manufacturer to work with, he will see that when it breaks. We have been in business over 60 years. You can't have clowns run a business that stays afloat for over 60 years. Clowns are for the circus, and this ain't no circus!! "I NOTICED YOU SAID YOU WOULD NOT HIRE TURNER APPLIANCE AGAIN. WE HAVE DONE QUITE A BIT OF WORK FOR YOU IN THE PAST YEARS. OUR PARTS WE INSTALL HAVE A 3 YEAR WARRANTY ON THEM WHICH IS THE BEST WARRANTY BY ANY COMPANY YOU WILL FIND. OUR SERVICE CHARGE CARRIES A 30 DAY WARRANTY AND THE LABOR CARRIES A 90 DAY WARRANTY WHICH IS PRETTY MUCH STANDARD IN THIS INDUSTRY. SOME FOOD FOR THOUGHT: HAD YOU CALLED ANY OTHER COMPANY IN TOWN TO FIX YOUR DRYER AS WE DID ON 8/24/18 YOU WOULD HAVE ZERO WARRANTY AT THIS POINT. THIS MEANS YOU WOULD HAVE HAD TO PAY NOT ONLY THE SERVICE CHARGE AND LABOR BUT ALSO THE PART AGAIN. SO YOU WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR THE COMPLETE JOB ALL OVER AGAIN. HAVING THE 3 YEAR WARRANTY ON THE PART SAVED YOU ABOUT $150. MOST COMPANIES GIVE ONLY A 90 DAY WARRANTY ON PARTS AND A FEW WILL GIVE A 1 YEAR WARRANTY. NOBODY GIVES A 3 YEAR WARRANTY BUT US. I HOPE YOU CAN SEE THAT YOU ARE IN MUCH BETTER HANDS WITH US THAN ANY OTHER COMPANY. AGAIN, YOU SAVED $150 BECAUSE OF OUR WARRANTY WHERE YOU WOULD OF HAD TO PAY FOR THE PART ON TOP OF THE SERVICE CALL AND LABOR WITH ANY OTHER COMPANY. I WOULD HATE TO LOSE YOUR BUSINESS AND HOPEFULLY THIS RESPONSE WILL CLEAR THINGS UP A LITTLE FOR YOU. I AM GOING TO PUT A FREE SERVICE CALL IN OUR SYSTEM UNDER YOUR NAME AND ADDRESS FOR A FUTURE VISIT IF YOU NEED SERVICE ON ANY OF YOUR APPLIANCES. THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS! RICK."
