Fredericks does beautiful work..... but when materials fail their warranty is worthless. They chose not to replace the roof vents on my home but repaint them.... less than a year later one of them fell off!!! Now they choose not to warranty them but will charge me to fix them after they charged to repaint the others the said were just fine...... buyer beware!!!!!

"[Member Name Removed] - For the previous homeowner, we performed a shingle overlay on the roof and the existing roof and vents were left in place. We did not roof the house originally, therefore none of the existing material was part of our warranty. As we discussed on the phone before we came out to do the work, it was your home's previous owner that requested us to leave the existing vents in place and paint them, not our decision. I stated that if it was a loose bolt on the whirly-bird vent, that we would just tighten it up and move on down the road. But, if we had to replace the vent, there would be a charge. You agreed and we proceeded with the work per that agreement. I am sorry you feel this way and I hope that you will consider us in the future."

Very well. The estimate was submitted quickly and the final price was very close to the estimate. They called a couple of days before coming to notify us. They did the job right, such as flashing extending further up the chimney than some might have done. They cleaned up any clutter. They finished the job in only a very few days. All in all we feel like they did an excellent job and would be happy to use them in the future.

The roof is very hard to work on because it is very steep and quite large. Nevertheless, they got the job done in just over a week. The boss came out a few days later, after the crew had cleaned everything up and had left. I told him I had looked at the roof and was quite satisfied. However, he was not. He pointed out a minor alignment issue that I had missed, and he called his crew back out to fix it a few days later. This was a GREAT company to work with.

The price was good. My interaction with them was good. They have been able to stop the leak that we weren't able to do on our own. Their customer service was very good. They came and did the work and let me know that they would have to come back and finish it. They were able to come back and finish it in a reasonable amount of time. Their quality of work was good.

They'll be finishing the siding job today. I highly recommend them. Their work is a result of hail damage done. They had to completely tear off the roof.

It went well. The subcontracting firms that were used, Community Construction Services and Guttermaking (both in Anderson, IN), did good work. We had a lot of difficulty completing the job because of the unusual amount of rain we had this summer. In spite of that handicap, the roofers were able to schedule their work successfully around the periods of rain so that they were able to complete the job in sections. When they had to clean up and come back, they did so on time and came back when they said they would. They were very careful about doing the job right, even coming back a couple of times to touch up some details when other companies might not make the effort to do so.
