The water heater installation was adequate. They could have been more professional. They put the water heater on the carpet without any protection before installing. They asked me for my own towel to mop up water from the floor. They did not wear booties.

The came on time and removed the old water heater. When they brought the new unit in to install, it was 2 inches larger than the older unit and would not fit in the opening. So, they had to take it back and get a smaller unit. It was a little inconvenient to add a couple hours to the whole process, but it was understandable with the given circumstances. Once they arrived with the smaller unit, it went in quick and easy. Problem fixed!

Don't be fooled into using a "deal" because there has been upcharges with mine and a couple of others that I have heard that tried to use the advertised "deal". (Also, note... I have used many of the Angie's list deals in the past with no further funds required.) Beware before making this purchase.

They recommended replacing a section of line that would have only repaired a single faucet and cost nearly $1000, and did not include the softener replacement which was another $1000 or so. Got a second opinion and was able to get a new softener and a much less invasive (and less expensive) repair from another company for less than $1200.

It went really well. The guys were very upfront about estimating the type of work and how much it could cost (high and low ball) and that their estimates might change after they got under the house and got a better idea of what was going on. It ended up not needing as much done as they originally thought, so it also ended up being cheaper. Everything is holding up really well, though and the guys were all a pleasure to deal with. I'm very satisfied with the entire experience.

The workers were punctual and professional. The job went fine. A minor inconvenience on the clerical side, as we were double charged. However, the company caught their error and is fixing it.

We used one of the "Big deals" Angie's List offers for $99. It took the serviceman less than one hour to replace the faucet. We were amazed they wanted to charge an additional $250 after paying for the "big deal". We had an identical repair a couple years ago and the total was $99 for the "big deal" and $63 additional. I let them know and the earlier service was completed by an A-rated Angie's List service provider. The serviceman called and was able to get the price lowered to an additional $109. We will use the earlier service next time.

The crew did a very good job ... in very wet and cold miserable weather of Dec 2016/ Jan 2017 ... and worked hard to keep us informed on timing and progress despite some equipment-failure issues. Good guys.
