"Debra, Dave, and Mike did a wonderful job. I cannot thank them enough for the terrific job they did. Not only did they remove the wallpaper in the entry way, hallway, living room, and loft, they also made sure the walls were repaired, smoothed, and ready for painting. The result was absolute perfection. I would highly recommend Two Sisters Painting for wallpaper removal and interior painting projects. In fact, I am working with them to have the same work performed on my master bedroom and bathroom. Thanks again, Debra, Dave and Mike!"

"Steve and his team are great! We have used Rickleff to paint almost every square inch of two homes over 10 years. Always on-time, professional and cleanup like they were never there. When they paint they go the extra mile to caulk cracks, and fix imperfections. They have patched and matched popcorn ceilings and painted our kitchen cabinets with a high quality lacquer that mirrors a factory finish and saved us 10’s of thousands on our kitchen remodel. I trust them to do any paint work both interior and exterior."

"I wrote a wonderful review prematurely!  After the job was done I noticed that they forgot to paint the trim around the front door (interior).  Also on the banisters that they stained, I noticed a white film kept forming on them which never happened before.
I contacted, Mark several times and each time he told me he would call me in  a few weeks...he never did.  I would call him and got the same response..I will call you, we are in the middle of a big job. Really? That is what you tell customers?  I do not think they want to come back and take care of issues.  Also, I started looking more closely at their work and noticed they did not take handles off of cabinets and you can clearly see brush marks around the handles where the rest of the cabinet doors were rolled.
My take is they do not come back if there is a problem...which they will tell you they do.  Sorry I gave such a good report earlier.

"I Hired ONiT painting to paint my dad's 1600 sq. ft. home. They did an amazing job! My dad's home was a darker color and had a ton of imperfections in the walls & they cleaned up all the walls, freshly painted and did an excellent job. The crew was timely & cleaned up well. The estimator was very nice, honest & extremely professional. All of their staff took appropriate Covid precautions & we felt safe welcoming them into our home. Their estimate wasn't the most expensive nor was it the cheapest, it was priced just right. They're professionalism took them over the edge and we knew they'd be the perfect fit for what we wanted done. I'd recommend them to anyone needing painting work done! Plan to hire them again for additional projects. Thanks for the great work!"

Customers say: Super punctual

"They were the most expensive of the bids I received, but I feel that the quality of the job and the ease of working with this owner and his painting crew were worth the extra cost. I found that the owner and his workers were easy to communicate with and that they strived to form a relationship with the customer instead of it just being another transaction. They were honest and told me that some of the wood repairs that another company wanted to do were not necessary. As a bonus, they painted my dog house and washed all of the outside of the windows at no extra cost!"

"Danny is the best painter we have ever used. His crew were all very professional, prompt and hard working. We had our whole interior painted. From ceiling, crown molding, chair rails, walls the whole house. Price was very fair for the scope of the job. Start to finish A+ for sure."

Interior Painting questions, answered by experts

Yes, vinegar can remove polyurethane from wood, but it is a slow, inefficient, and inconsistent restoration method. Whatever your intention, it’s best to avoid using vinegar on wood with a polyurethane finish—though it can be an effective cleaner for other wood finishes.

Most projects take 1-5 days, depending on the area size, paint adhesion, and removal technique chosen.

A traditional German schmear uses mortar, making it unsuitable for adherence to painted surfaces. Professionals recommend removing any existing paint before applying mortar. However, you can rough up the painted surface and clean it to test if the mortar will stick. Remember that the underlying paint's texture and color may affect the schmear's final appearance—so starting with a bare brick wall will ensure the ideal finish.

The best way to remove lead paint is by wet hand sanding and removing all dust and residue with a HEPA vacuum. Professionals may also strip and scrape lead-based paint with a paint scraper. In some cases, you may choose to have a pro encapsulate or enclose your lead-based paint surface by covering it with a sealant or a new material. You may also choose to replace the material altogether.

Yes, you can technically use a pressure washer to remove paint from brick, but it comes with a significant risk of damaging the brick surface. A high-power pressure washer can be fast but may leave the brick looking unsightly. The recommended method is to first apply a chemical paint stripper, following the product's instructions, and then use a stiff metal bristle brush or a pressure washer on a low-pressure setting to remove the loosened paint. Due to the risk of damage, it is often best to hire a professional who can use low-stress methods.
