The work to be done, our house was built in 1968 and there was a gap between the basement wall and the foundation that needed to be filled. We also needed to encapsulate the space. We were in the process of selling our home, and this issue came up in the home inspection. We offered to work with the buyer, making repairs after close via escrow, but the buyer rejected and the offer was withdrawn.
