"I’m a 70 year old Senior. I had sagging at the end of my hall, in my 3-BR ranch home. I got five other quotes, none of which suggests a problem with my foyer or kitchen. They sent out some 20 something young man -that clearly did not know what he was doing to complete my main beam replacement project. I mentioned to David (the 20 something) and his assistant IMMEDIATELY, that my kitchen cabinets had pulled away from the wall and the foyer was tilting. Several times. He assured me that he would run the beam right up under the kitchen between the kitchen and the foyer, to the garage door —to correct it! I had an intense disagreement with him when he tried to leave and did not make any attempt to correct the damage. The damage they had caused. I used my burial money to correct this sagging in the hall-and they left me with a huge problem with my foyer and kitchen that WASN’T THERE BEFORE, that they caused, & knew they caused. Indiana foundation, now Groundworks, sent Blake to my house under the guise of completing my first adjustment to the main beam, and as I had instructed them, to formulate their repair project based on a certified Home Inspection Specialist that I had hired to let me know what, specifically, Ind Found. should do to correct the serious problem they created. They promised to schedule the repair work at that time, but have ghosted to me ever since coming to see the damage they caused and formulate the repair. I have not been able to get in contact with them since; I’ve left numerous v-mails and texts. They have no integrity towards my project and nor will they have ANY integrity towards yours."

"In drilling holes in our laundry room floor they drilled two holes in a hot water pipe. The repair work and expense related to this was greater than the cost of their work. No verbal or written mention was ever made about identifying the location of water pipes. I assumed (mistakenly) that they were professional enough to either ask me to have this done or be able to do it themselves. Their response to my complaint was to send me a copy of my contract reminding me that they are not responsible for "cosmetic" damage and that complaints must be settled through arbitration. "

"I would NEVER use this company for a job. Got a quote, when they came out to do the work they said it would be twice as much as the quote. When I called in to escalate to find out why. They said that guy now doesn't work for the company but since I am existing customer I have to go thru the customer experience department to get someone else to come out AND no one ever returns my calls. "I am very disappointed with The Foundation Specialist. Their price quote was more than double that of a competitor, which raised concerns from the start. I canceled the contract within the 72-hour period as allowed under the Federal cooling-off rule, yet more than 10 days later they have failed to refund my $5,500 deposit. I have called multiple times and was repeatedly told that the sales manager would contact me, but no one has followed up. This lack of professionalism and failure to honor a lawful cancellation is unacceptable. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company to anyone."

"Contractor was quick to respond. Gave a competitive estimate, and was a great pick for our siding work. Unfortunately, since we had to.fire the original contractor, the house was exposed and they needed time to get to us we didn't have. When we discussed the options they were kind and respectful, and understood our position. When their schedule had some freedom they did even call back to make sure we had the work completed."

"First I would like to say that everyone I dealt with at ICSR was great! From Erika who made the appointments to Jeremiah who did the inspection, to Terry and his crew. They were all friendly, respectful, and knowledgeable. Jeremiah explained in detail what needed done in my crawlspace. There was a lot of damage due to termites in the past. I knew this was what needed done as I had another Company look at it as well. They backed out because they thought the crawlspace was to narrow to get the work done. I agreed to Jeremiah's plan and about two weeks later Larry and his crew came out to do the work. I will say it again, Larry and his crew were great. They worked so hard and in horrible heat and humidity. They were always friendly and smiled when I saw them. Larry always let me know what they got done that day, and what the plan was for the next. They cleaned up the work area, and took away any and all debris. I have full faith in ICSR and Larry and his crew that the repairs were done right. I am so glad the plan with the other company fell through, as I think I ended up with the best!"

"Our Inspector was not thorough at all. He turned the water on for the bathroom sink and then the shower in the front bathroom and when he did the water in the sink almost stopped flowing and he didn't notice that so I pointed it out to him and from that point he should have proceeded to ck the water flow in the rest of the house to see if the whole house had low flow issues but he didn't. The Inspector also noticed a flexible gas line off of the water heater that ran through the floor into the crawl and to a wall heater just on the other side of the wall and said it didn't have a ground on it but he would look at it in the crawl space but he didn't go over to where the flex gas line was. When he proceeded to the crawl space he only checked a very small part of the crawl with the largest areas of the crawl only accessible or visible through passthrough openings due to solid block support walls and this is a very easily accessible crawl space. I pointed out a wet looking spot on one of the block walls which was on the other end of the crawl from where we were and he wouldn't check into that and told me to ask the homeowner if they had and leakage issues in the crawl space so we had to get another crawl space inspection from another company 2 days later, and I'm sure the home owner would have said oh yeah you are gonna be screwed when it rains. No appliances were checked for proper operation. During the attic inspection he didn't see a switch for the attic light so he used his flashlight, I looked at the light to see why he didn't turn it on and I followed the cord up and over the door where it was plugged into a droplight that had no bulb or guard on it exposing a shock hazard and it was ran over to an outlet and plugged in so I pointed that out to him also because he didn't see it. The Inspector never found the Master bedroom and bath (unbelievable) that is in the back corner of the house down a hallway so none of that even got looked at. The $75 charge for a Septic Inspection consisted of turning on the kitchen sink faucet, putting the dye in the drain and immediately proceeded to make 1 pass around the property which he went well into the neighbors back yard and I had to tell him about that. This Inspector was extremely absent minded on this day. I did follow J.M. through this whole inspection process."
