"Indiana Foundation was contacted by the buyer of our home following a home inspection which revealed moisture in the crawlspace. This puts them in a tricky spot between a home buyer and the home seller. They found normal moisture levels and sent us a proposal to mitigate the problem. We questioned the proposal because we were told our moisture levels were normal. Not to mention we just came off of one of the wettest months of May in history. We had questions and wanted to speak with the company representative who visited our home and created the proposal, but did not hear back from them. Upon my initial, negative review on Angie's List, I received a phone call from Jonas, the manager. We had a good discussion as to what happened and then turned our conversation into a plan to relook the crawlspace. Jonas came out personally to do this (within a day or two from our call) and spent time with me in the crawlspace taking moisture measurements throughout. It seems the original proposal was more than what the situation called for. Jonas has put together a more appropriate scope and proposal and we're looking to hire them. What stands out to me about this whole experience is a company that cares to listen, re-examine and make adjustments that are warranted. While the first company representative may not have been a good experience, the other people behind the company have been great to work with and communicate with.
