"The awesomeness started within a couple hours of purchasing my deal. Matt reached out to clarify a misprint in the deal, and assure I still wanted to go through with the deal. He was able to to schedule me at a time that worked with my busy schedule.
Darryl and Mike arrived right on time, first thing in the morning. I had originally purchased a hot water tank replacement deal. During the old tank removal, it was discovered that my ejector pump was not working. The crew was equipped to replace that at a reasonable price as well. They worked quick and professionally and had all the work completed in a timely manner. They made sure to have tarps available to protect my floors when moving the tanks in and out. The crew had such pleasant personalities, and I could tell they enjoyed what they were doing.
I highly recommend M&E Plumbing for any work you may need!!

"Sam and his team at F3 plumbing were excellent. I recently purchased my home and have had several contractors come out and take a look at plumbing issues, F3 was by far the most straight forward and gave me a great quote. They preformed the work professionally and efficiently. Within a day they were able to come out and look at my plumbing and equipment. I ended up having them fix a leak in my water main line, rod the sewer, replace and upgrade my 50 gallon water heater with a 75 gallon water heater, demo and reinstall a full bathroom with bath tub, tile, and floor replacement (looks brand new beautiful and modern), and install a brand new dishwasher with a new connecting water line. Everything looks great and was professionally installed and they hauled away all of the trash. Great company and highly recommend!"

"Showed up a few hours after calling,  plumber put on shoe covers to not track dirt into house.  Investigates issue with pump, to figure out problem.  He had all neccesary parts, equipmnet including pump in the truck and had the pump working in a timely mannor.  took the time to clean up.  Fernando was very friendly, curtious, and professional.

I had also used the same company when we had sewage waist back up into our basement,  they came out very quickly and and got it fixed for a resonable price.

"I was having problems with my sump pump and needed service that day. I figured I would try a local company to get faster service. After about four hours, they finally showed up.  The techs stated that it was a busy day.  They took a look at the old sump pump and recommended a new one.  They also told me about their membership service (a monthly fee) that includes an annual water heater check up and special discounts and services.  I went ahead and signed up.  The techs were Dan C. and Paul D. They got right to work and were done in roughly 20 minutes.  The total cost was just under $1,000. It was a little more than what I was expecting to pay but they did a really good job.  They also mentioned that they do other plumbing work as well so I will definitely use them next time I need the services. Great job guys!

Septic Tanks questions, answered by experts

The lifespan of your well casing depends mainly on the material it’s made from. Stainless steel and galvanized steel casings are designed to withstand the pressures and environment of deep-water wells but are susceptible to corrosion. Most steel casings last from 20 to 35 years, on average. PVC casing is highly durable and, if used correctly, can last up to 50 years.

An outdoor water valve typically has a round or oval handle that you can turn to control the water flow. It may be located in a protective box or pit near the property line, where the main water line connects to your house.

The pressure in a well pressure tank should be set 2 to 3 PSI below the pump's cut-on pressure. The cut-on pressure is the lower number in the pressure setting (e.g., the '30' in 30/50 PSI) and is the point at which the pump starts. The cut-out pressure is the higher number, where the pump stops.

For example:

  • If your pressure switch is set to 30/50 PSI, the tank pressure should be 27-28 PSI.

  • If your pressure switch is set to 40/60 PSI, the tank pressure should be 38 PSI.

Common pressure settings for household applications include 20/40, 30/50, and 40/60 PSI. The difference between the cut-on and cut-out pressure is typically 20 PSI.

How deep your septic system needs to be into the ground depends on several factors. In extremely cold environments, the tank needs to rest below the maximum frost line, which can be up to six or eight feet deep. The standard burying depth for most systems is between a few inches and four feet below ground level. Depth can also depend on the slope of the landscaping and other property variables.

Unfortunately, yes. If your well pump continues working when the flow of water is completely blocked, the motor will burn up. The energy has nowhere to go, thanks to the blockage, so it turns inward. The end result? A ruined well pump and a depleted bank account (once you shop for a replacement.)
