Customers say: Quick response

"I hired Lorenzo after inheriting an old sprinkler system and firing the previous repair company who was non-responsive and difficult to work with. I hired Lorenzo and 1.5 years later I could not be happier. He fixed my previous system, helped me add a line and change existing head locations, and install a new wifi controller. He is always incredibly responsive, very easy to work with, and is impeccable in his clean up - you would have never known he trenched for a 50 foot long line. I could not recommend Lorenzo more. I have since told friends and families to use Lorenzo for all of their sprinkler system needs."

"When they originally installed my sprinkler system it was the best job I had ever seen.  The quality is good, the controller burned out.  I have no complaints about them. "

Small jobs welcome

"I needed my irrigation system activated for the season. Having just moved into my house last December, I was pleased to have a sprinkler system, but had no idea how to activate it or actually operate it. Jaime responded quickly to my request, showed up on time, attached the proper piece of equipment and had my sprinkler up and running in no time at all. In addition to inspecting the system, he identified some sprinkler heads that were damaged and replaced them. He was efficient, knowledgeable and reasonably priced. I will definitely have him return in the fall to winterize my system."

Lawn Irrigation questions, answered by experts

Both zoysia grass and bermuda grass are somewhat similar to St. Augustine because they’re all warm-season grasses. Beyond that, most grass types have unique properties that set them apart. Zoysia grass costs twice the price of St. Augustine grass on average and it has thinner blades and a deeper green appearance. Bermuda grass, compared to St. Augustine, has much thinner blades, is softer to the touch, and has a higher tolerance for colder weather.

Technically no, but they can look very similar and people often refer to the weedy grasses interchangeably. However, several differences keep these species separate. Crabgrass is often a darker color than carpetgrass and tends to sprout much earlier in spring. When allowed to grow out, crabgrass grows stems outward from the center of a stalk in a star-like pattern, which carpetgrass does not have.

Power seeding and aeration are both excellent ways to improve lawn health, but they serve different functions. Aeration focuses on improving soil health by creating channels that allow more water, oxygen, and carbon dioxide to reach the roots. In contrast, power seeding is a method of planting grass seeds, often by creating narrow trenches in the soil. One service isn't better than the other; they are complementary. It is beneficial to aerate your lawn before power seeding, as this makes the seeding more effective by helping the germinating seeds access the resources they need. It's a good practice to aerate your lawn once or twice a year, regardless of whether you plan to power seed.

If you spray a DIY vinegar solution that contains high salt, it can disrupt the soil's structure and make it difficult for plants to grow. That's why it's vital to avoid spraying vinegar solution on areas where you are trying to grow plants and flowers. When using a mix of vinegar and soap, some say you can plant a few days after the vinegar dries.

Before you put down grass seed, you should cultivate your soil or add two inches of topsoil. You should also put down fertilizer at the same time as your seed to prompt healthy growth. Be sure to water after you put down grass seed, especially for the first two weeks.
