Customers say: Quick response

"i'm a repeat customer (That should tell you a lot). Small job ot trimming a decorative tree and raising a branch on a large locust in the back yard. My neighbor was so impressed that she requested help and Jose helped her out on the spot! If you need someone that REALLY understands how to treat a tree and you, as a client, look no further."

"The owner Michael came out and did a complete walk-through of my property with me. He demonstrated exceptional knowledge on every type of tree, identifying health concerns and different illnesses present in our crab trees and our giant blue spruce trees. After meeting with me and my wife, we new immediately that AAA Arborist would make the best decisions on how to address our tree health and maintenance needs. I obtained three separate quotes and AAA Arborists' detail was thorough and pricing was very competetive, so my choice was very easy to make. On the day of my service, Michael personally supervised his crew. The work was carefully executed and the attention to detail was amazing. Michael also followed up with me a week later to ensure we were satisfied. I am so pleased with the service and the results. We will be using them as our regular tree service from now on!"

Customers say: Quality work

"Jose contacted me the first day I approached anyone. He came out and did an estimate the next day. The work was completed three days later. They removed lower branches from our very tall evergreen tree. They remove branches from our overgrown lilac bushes. And they trimmed are flowering, crabapple tree all around, and it looks very beautiful. They were neat, clean, timely, professional, and well worth the money. Reasonable."

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

While it’s best to have access to large, healthy, strong trees in a safe position, treehouse living is still possible without them. Contractors can fit tree posts to build the structure onto or use posts as additional support alongside the trees themselves. If you’re in doubt about the suitability of the trees on your land, consult with a local treehouse builder before you start the project.

If executed correctly your tree should survive after being transplanted to a new spot. However, effective transplanting requires six months, careful root pruning, safe transport to the new location, and replanting in prime soil conditions. You’ll also need an appropriately sized root ball for a complete tree transplant. A good rule of thumb is that, for every inch in diameter, your tree’s root ball needs to be around 11 inches. So a tree with a diameter of six inches needs a root ball of approximately 66 inches.

We don’t recommend DIY tree trimming for a few different reasons. First, the tools required to trim a tree can be costly, up to $1,100 or more, for the ladders and specialized saws needed.

Safety is another concern, especially when working with more mature trees. As a guideline, you should only DIY tree trimming when branches are less than two inches in diameter. Any more, and the safety risk becomes too high, which could lead to catastrophe. For this job, it’s safest to let a tree-trimming professional assess the work needed.

While the trees in your backyard are good for the environment and look beautiful, they could present a danger to your home under the wrong circumstances. This task is typically beyond the capabilities of the average homeowner due to its dangerous nature, so it’s best to leave this task to a professional. In some cities, it’s even illegal to remove a tree yourself.

The amount of time it takes for a tree trunk to rot depends on several factors, including the tree’s size, species, and environmental conditions. It can take anywhere from a few years to several decades for a tree’s trunk to rot. A tree stump, on the other hand, can take up to 10 years to disappear after it’s decayed naturally.
