"Hello [Member Name Removed], I apologize about the early arrival, however at the time of scheduling the estimate you had mentioned to Mike that you had another appointment/somewhere to be at 10 am, so he told you he would try to arrive earlier. He was there about 15-20 minutes early and rang the door bell and knocked. Since you have multiple trees he couldn't leave you an estimate as he didn't know what needed to be done, but did offer to come back on Monday when you spoke on the phone later that day. You confirmed Monday's appointment, but then cancelled. I'm sorry we couldn't better assist you with your tree service needs. Thank you, Dijana"
"Hi [Member Name Removed]. As discussed over the phone this morning, we are very sorry about your negative experience. Our goal is to complete every job with customer satisfaction and it's unfortunate that we did not deliver on that promise with your experience. I personally apologize if you did not receive clear communication from Mike. After completing the job, Mike and the crew were on their way back to our office in Addison and Mike was planning to call you to report the downed Comcast wire as soon as he arrives at the office (as well as to me so that I could assist you in contacting Comcast). However, he received a phone call/text from you and responded right away. (Please note that we have an office receptionist from 9 am - 3 pm daily, and Mike and myself check in remotely throughout the day, which would explain why you had to leave a message and did not receive a response from our office before 9 am the following morning.) Please understand that it is not of any benefit to us to deny that the Comcast wire was downed (Comcast will not charge you nor us to reconnect the wire, and if there was a charge we would 100% cover it) and Mike was not trying at all to hide/deny what happened. The tree trimming was completed as promised with the estimate. As your whole tree is growing through various ComEd and Comcast wires, it is not possible to trim the whole tree away from the wires without leaving it trimmed unsafely/unbalanced. I responded to you right away this morning via Facebook as well as by phone to try to resolve the situation. We have offered to not collect the payment for the tree trimming as you feel unsatisfied, as well as have offered a coffee on us as an apology for the frustration and causing you to be without Comcast service. It was a pleasure speaking with you over the phone, although I wish the occasion was a positive one. Kind regards, Dijana"
"Work was scheduled and confirmed multiple times for 5/10. Received email from costumer on 5/10 at am not come that day because it is not good day for her. Customer wanted reschedule work for days that were not available. We are very sorry about this but we truly believe review would be nothing but A's if we were able to do work."
All in all a very professional job and I would certainly use them again
The day of the service, they were supposed to be here by noon. At 12:30, no one had shown up. I called the office, she said she would have Mike call me. He called a few minutes later, said the job he was at was taking longer than expected and he would be another hour. Around 2 pm, he showed up with a crew of 5 guys.
The two 12" trees they were able to take down with one cut, and hauled them around the house to the driveway where they had backed the tree grinding truck to.
One guy climbed the 18" diameter tree and carefully took it down in pieces so as not to damage the bushes or chain link fence below it. He slung ropes in adjacent trees to support the branches he cut so they could be gently lowered to the ground without damaging the fence or bushes.
After the three trees were ground, Mike ground all five stumps and his crew raked the wood chips back over the ground stump and left the yard in good order.
Other than not calling when the previous job ran later than expected, they did a great job for a very fair price.
"I am sorry about your splash block and gutter if you would like i could come out this Sunday to replace it."
2 - We had a mis-communication on the back tree trimming. I agreed I wanted the tree cut back to the fence line, but I didn't expect the branches to just be hacked off. I expected some shaping. I was watching the front tree removal and didn't realize a 2nd crew was working on the back. My neighbor and I agree the tree will grow back so no damage done. I just learned to give & get more detail in the future.
Overall, a very quick and painless process, and the employees are very friendly and knowledgeable.
