"Ramon and his team have taken care of my yard for over 3 years and they do a great job. They have also re-landscaped the area where our pool was, including pulling pulling out the old posts from the deck that was by the pool. It looks like there was never a pool there! Recently they replaced some pavers by the front porch and in front of our shed. They suggested a contrasting border outlining and it turned out great. I highly recommend Del Rio's."

"Alex and his team are professional, reliable, and take real pride in their work. From start to finish, the communication was clear, the pricing was fair, and the quality of the work truly exceeded expectations. They showed up on time, worked efficiently, and paid attention to every detail. The transformation of my yard was incredible — everything looks clean, precise, and beautifully done. It’s rare to find a company that combines skill, courtesy, and consistency at this level. I highly recommend Ruben Tellez Landscaping LLC to anyone looking for top-tier landscaping services. Landscaping questions, answered by experts

Determining how many boulders you’ll need for your landscaping project depends on the area you need to cover and how big each boulder is. First, you’ll need to determine how big of an area you want covered, then divide that by the base surface area of the boulders. A landscape professional can help you determine how many boulders will be right for your project.

Yes, many providers offer organic or eco-friendly treatments. Confirm availability with your contractor.

As much as you might try to keep a healthy, nutrient-rich lawn, you still may notice signs of St. Augustine decline (SAD)—a viral disease that discolors your grass blades. St. Augustine decline looks like:

  • Discoloration in the leaves (chlorosis)—leaves appear yellow and splotchy

  • Decline in growth

  • Leaves turn black within 3 years

  • Grass appears less vibrant

  • Grass begins to thin

  • Root rot

  • Grass takes longer to recover

Surface-level tree roots might only pose a small threat, such as being a tripping hazard or obstacle when you mow your lawn. But if mature tree roots start growing in the direction of your home’s foundation or plumbing system, it could be a real problem. Cutting small tree roots out before they grow too large can keep your home safe without removing the whole tree.

Buying plants from a nursery is one thing, but ensuring that they are properly planted is another. While you might not need to hire a landscaper for every plant that you buy from a nursery, it’s a great idea to have their expertise and experience to plant larger items, like burlapped trees or specialty plants like rose bushes. Even better, before making a trip to a nursery to buy new plants, consult a local landscaper to test your soil for pH levels, soil texture, and phosphorus and potassium levels to help determine the best plants for your area.
