"No leaves were involved! Josh and Mickey removed wires from old project that protruded from the ground. Then they removed the concrete garden barriers surrounding that area and another one. All of the concrete was hauled off. : ) Josh and Mickey tailored the work to meet my budget. Other work may need to be done later on, but now I know that J's Leaf removal will get it done quickly and efficiently and in any size that my budget can handle!"

"This project involved a huge tree removal and some front yard landscaping. We're very happy with both results. Dominick and his crew are efficient, friendly and tidy, including excellent cleanup. Dominick is very knowledgeable and professional."

"Second City Hauling finished getting these extremely heavy sofas out of my apartment in about a half hour. They were careful not to ding the furniture against anything. Much appreciated!! The fact that they work with charities to give unwanted furniture a second life only made the experience that much more meaningful."

Leaf Removal questions, answered by experts

Household products such as paints, cleaners, oils, and batteries are considered hazardous and should not be disposed of with regular household waste. Instead, look for local household hazardous waste collection facilities where you can safely dispose of these items without harming the environment or human health.

Embarking on a kitchen demolition comes with its share of risks to keep in mind. Think of potential encounters with asbestos, sharp objects, and power tools—not to mention the peril of structures wobbling or unexpected plumbing surprises. And, of course, you will be surrounded by dust and debris throughout the process. All of the above makes safety gear necessary, or you can consider hiring a qualified professional.

You can sell a house with lead paint, but there are several requirements. If you are aware that lead paint exists anywhere in the home, you must disclose that to potential buyers. Required home inspections will often uncover lead paint, especially for older houses where lead paint may still be a problem. If you have taken steps to encapsulate lead, you should provide buyers with full documentation of the project so it won’t cause any problems later on.

Unfortunately, lead dust does not look different from any other type of dust. You cannot detect it with the naked eye. To determine if you have lead dust in your home, you will need to hire a local company to take a sample from the paint and test it for you in a lab.

Lead removal services typically cost between $1,000 and $5,000, depending on the extent of lead presence, the property size, and the complexity of the abatement process.
