"We had our asphalt driveway removed and replaced. The original work looked good - it was completed when we were not at home - bad timing on our part. After one year, we reported some cracking, sent pictures as requested and was told it was normal settling. Year 2, cracks were more pronounced, we sent pictures as requested, and were told someone would come our to look at it. We were ghosted several times, didn't receive return phone calls - it was very frustrating. Couldn't get past customer service to speak to anyone. No owner, no manager, no project manager. Long story short, they refused to "do business with us anymore" and wouldn't stand by their work. Pictures attached of year 3 - don't work with this company."

They found a problem with the foundation of my house that needed to be repaired before replacing the driveway and rebuilt the foundation wall next to the driveway. The work crew showed up on both days (day 1 - removal old driveway/installing gravel base; day 2: asphalt paving) super punctual at the agreed times. Professional and friendly crew members, very organized, clean work, no mess, and the final result (new driveway) looks great. The agreed total cost is very competitive and worth every dollar. "I'd really like to give a better review, but the communication with Blue Construction is just bad. I spoke with Nancy & she gave me a date they would start work. Nobody showed up that morning. I called & found out the email telling me a different start date was sent to a wrong email address. They had a completely different customers work order under my name & it took several conversations with them for them to realize this. So most of the information I was given for the first half of the job was incorrect, late, or non existent. I had to call my town to confirm their work passed the initial inspection & call Blue Construction to tell them before they would continue work. They did take $200 off the balance due because of all the issues & that was appreciated. The quality of work is really good. I am extremely pleased with the end result but I don't think I will use them again because of how bad the communication was. Also, I had to call my town after the work was completed to schedule."
