I'd really like to give a better review, but the communication with Blue Construction is just bad. I spoke with Nancy & she gave me a date they would start work. Nobody showed up that morning. I called & found out the email telling me a different start date was sent to a wrong email address. They had a completely different customers work order under my name & it took several conversations with them for them to realize this. So most of the information I was given for the first half of the job was incorrect, late, or non existent. I had to call my town to confirm their work passed the initial inspection & call Blue Construction to tell them before they would continue work. They did take $200 off the balance due because of all the issues & that was appreciated. The quality of work is really good. I am extremely pleased with the end result but I don't think I will use them again because of how bad the communication was. Also, I had to call my town after the work was completed to schedule.

I wanted retaining walls done on the front and sides of my house and Blue Construction was great. They helped me figure out want would look best and didn't try to oversell me. The crew was professional and their work is incredible But I need to shout out their Office Staff, amazing customer service and amazing follow up response to calls or voice mails..

Blue Construction deserves a 5-star rating on their concrete work in my property! They did my driveway and the concrete around my house in 2021. I was very pleased with the outcome. This year, I contracted them again to do the sidewalk on one side of my yard. Again, they did a most wonderful job. From my experience in contracting with Blue Construction, I can state without any reservation that this company is excellent in every way: their sales reps very easy to deal with, their pricing competitive, their project management very solid, their crew very professional, their communication very impressive and their customer service outstanding. I highly recommend Blue Contruction as a top choice for construction projects.

Blue Construction is just excellent, very smooth experience with their communication, they kept me updated the whole time as we moved through the steps to get the work done. They have a crew for each step and they are all very professional, they care about doing a good job and cleaned up after. My wife and I are super happy with the outcome,our driveway, walkway and patio look awesome!

Loved their service and work

I hired this company to take out my old crapy 150 sq foot patio. They installed a new 400 sq foot patio stamped concrete. The new Patio is awesome. The company was very good with communication via email or texts. My only issue was that I prefer old-school phone communication because I had several questions and they could be answered quicker via phone than email back and forth. I told them I preferred talking on the phone. I do 100% recommend this company. I had a few struggles communicating with on-the-job foreman due to language barriers etc. Everyone in the company was very nice and you can tell they know what they are doing. So I gave it 4.5 stars. 5.0 stars if I could have had a communication that I as the customer prefer but no need to dwell on that this is a good company.

Final project turned out great!

Blue Construction replaced a 4ft by 8ft concrete section of my driveway in Arlington Heights that was previously removed by a plumbing company to install a flush cleanout access point in the under the driveway sewer pipe. It was a small job with less than a cubic yard of concrete. It is very difficult to get anybody to do such a small job. The concrete truck must be scheduled with other small jobs in the area to be economical. They obtained the village permit. The job took longer to schedule but in the end they did an excellent job.

My stamped concrete patio came out beautiful!! They knew just what I wanted from what I explained and were very professional and got the job done fast. I would definitely recommend them and will use them again for future projects.

We had a few weather delays, but Nancy was great at providing text updates so I always knew what was going on. They also did a great job getting g the permit quickly, which is not a simple task in my city. I m very happy with the results and would hire again!

We were without AC due to this project. They were amazing to help us get the project done quickly so that we could have our AC unit put back in during the hot summer. They texted, called and kept up in the loop with what was going on with permits and arrival times.

They did quality work that looks amazing. They cleaned up nearly everything left behind. A few small pieces of wood and two nails. Definitely will look to hire them again for a backyard patio/fire pit.

Very unprofessional. The total mess from start to finish. It took them 3 weeks to install a concrete patio, however, the total time was less than a day. Never cleaned up after, damaged my siding, my fence and my backyard looks like a war zone. They did not even pick up their personal belongings. We had to hire another company to fix the mess and finalize the project. Very bad experience. You can visit my project, I have pictures to show you what to expect.

The owner, Felix, was involved in each step of removing and reconstructing my retaining wall as well as providing sodding services. They were well organized, thorough, respectful, cost effective and provided an excellent product and service.
