When you are in need of a professional plumber in the Northwest Chicago suburb area, the only name that you need to know is Kwik Serv Plumbing. With over 25 years of expertise, we know what it takes to get the job done. We back our work, pricing, and parts with guarantees. From basic repairs and drain cleaning to gas appliance hook-ups and basement pump outs, we can take care of your commercial or residential plumbing service needs.

"We were forced to use Kwik Serv through home warranty, and they did not fix our A/C in almost 100 degree weather, and refuses to come out asap to fix it again, and making us wait through the weekend. We have to stay in a hotel due to children, pet and elderly parent, and they have no empathy, concern, or sense or urgency in this matter. They know they they're getting paid regardless through the warranty services, so naturally you'll get terrible customer service. I would highly recommend moving on to the next contractor."

Plumbing questions, answered by experts

Your toilet will still flush if the septic tank is full, but it might flush more slowly. It may make gurgling sounds as the wastewater slowly drains through the pipes. You may also notice the toilet clogs up more frequently when the septic tank is full, although this can also be a sign of other plumbing issues, like a clog in the pipes.

A sewage ejector pump works to move solid waste and wastewater from below ground, basement fixtures up into the main sewer line of the home, where it can then drain out into the city sewer system or your septic tank. Without a sewage ejector pump, this wastewater would simply pool and flood your basement.

Dirty, cloudy faucets have been stained by tap water, that is "hard water." The scaly deposits you're seeing are actually signs of calcium buildup. If you have visible cloudiness on the outside, there's a high chance you have calcium buildup in your pipes that needs to be treated.

DIY is not recommended due to specialized equipment requirements. Professional services ensure accurate diagnostics.

Whether a DIY fix is safe depends on your knowledge and experience in plumbing and appliance repair. If you have the necessary skills, follow safety precautions, and consult the user manual, it can certainly be done safely. However, if you're unsure or lack experience, you should consult a professional plumber, appliance technician, or sewer repair company near you to avoid potential accidents, further damage, or plumbing issues.
