Kwik Serv Plumbing & HVAC

We were forced to use Kwik Serv through home warranty, and they did not fix our A/C in almost 100 degree weather, and refuses to come out asap to fix it again, and making us wait through the weekend. We have to stay in a hotel due to children, pet and elderly parent, and they have no empathy, concern, or sense or urgency in this matter. They know they they're getting paid regardless through the warranty services, so naturally you'll get terrible customer service. I would highly recommend moving on to the next contractor.

You wrote a review for Kwik Serv Plumbing & HVAC 6 minutes ago 7/16/2019 Horrible. Beware, terrible service. Plumber Tom (whose wife was going to have a baby at any time) came out over a month ago to fix my faucet leak and ordered a part while he was at my home. He said it would be a week to two weeks. In waiting and waiting for him to come back, I contacted American Home Shield, the company I went through who hooked me up with this company because I couldn't recall the name of the business. After AHS issued a recall, owner, Helen Kowalski called and I explained that my faucet is still leaking, and I had been waiting for the plumber to return. She informed me that there was no way the plumber would order those parts because they don't carry them. This was the first I had heard about that. She started becoming irate, and wouldn't let me speak and told me that "I" was supposed to order the parts and get back to the plumber. I asked her to reach out to her plumber and she immediately fired back, "I don't need to talk to my plumber!" First of all, how can I order a part I have no knowledge about? I was given no part number, brand or information. Why? Because the PLUMBER ORDERED IT. Usually a plumber wouldn't let the client know EXACTLY what they're ordering, with part numbers, etc... What a disaster. Great communication between your employees, Helen. Not even interested in talking to your plumber to ask him about this. Instead you hung up on me, the client and there is nothing I can do about it, can I? You're the owner. All I can do is write a review. I've never had a business hang up on me and speak to me the way this woman did. She kept raising her voice and speaking over me. I can't believe she's still in business with an attitude like this and treating customers like this.

This was a big job but Kwik Serv made it look easy. The pipe was cracked inside the floor. They had to remove some of the flooring to get to the pipe, but they finished it in just one day!

They arrived at the house just 20 minutes after I called and cleared the kitchen drain in about 5 minutes.  The technician was very polite and respectful of my tenant and her belongings.  And the charge was much less than I expected.  Definitely not worth my time.  In the future I will always be calling Kwik Serv Plumbing at 847-957-3000.
