John was very nice and definitely knew what he was talking about. The only problem was the high price quote of $387, which we decided to pass on. We did pay $49 for him to come out and give us a quote. Today, my husband found a licensed plumber with 20+ years of experience to do the same job for $125 out the door. Sorry John - you were so nice, but we couldn't afford you.

"Thank you for recognizing our professionalism. In our price we include all additional piping which was required in your case and a one year warranty for the job. Also, every installation is brought up to plumbing code and tested. It sounds the disposal was reinstalled the same way without changing the pipes, so unfortunitly you might have the same problem again in the future. Furthermore, an Angieslist coupon was not applied to the price as you did not make us aware of your membership, so the total would of reflected a 10% discount savings."

It went well. They were professional and quick during a time of big storms in the area. Today, 6/15/2015, more storms and a flooding basement prompted another call. We were triaged over the phone, and by the time they got here our water was already receding. They take the warranty seriously, and came right over. Pump was working, and he verified we should be good to go. Tomorrow in the light of day, we have a couple things we can check in the yard. No charge for the warranty visit, even during the Stanley Cup Finals.

John and Jerry did a great job with my plumbing replacement/repair requests. They gave me a full quote of what it would cost for both hot/cold water valve replacements for the connections to the washer. Then they also gave me a quote for the repair work for my shower. They had to order the part for the shower, so it couldn't be done the same day. They completed the hot/cold water valve replacement very quickly and it now works great. Then I called to scheduled the second repair to my shower, and they were able to come back later that week and complete the shower repair. I also decided during that week to get a new shower head/faucet since they were working on it anyway, and they added that to my quote and corrected the water temperature issue and replaced my shower head/faucet with the new one I picked out. They were a great team, very professional, and clearly answered my questions on how everything worked.

Great service. No problems scheduling the service. Plumbers showed up on time and gave us a quote and did the work immediately. We have used Roselle Plumbing in the past (removed water softener and repaired toilet) and were happy with them so decided to use them again. Very professional service with no issues.

I called them up and spoke to Ann. She was very friendly and helpful. I told her about my plumbing problems and she explained there is a $49 trip fee and then the plumbers would give me an estimate on my job. I set up an appointment for a couple of days later. John and his apprentice showed up right on time. I had minor issues such as a toilet tank that would run periodically because it had a leak. He replaced the tank seal on that toilet. Another toilet had a handle that was a bit tweaked. He was able to fix that as well and everything seems to be working fine.

I called their office around 8:30am and spoke with Suzanne, told her I needed this test done asap and that I would be at my business until 2pm, she said let me see what I can do, I can squeeze you in sometime early afternoon. About an hour later she called back and said she can have someone at my location by 11am....Awesome! Two very professional looking gentlemen came in, around 11, introduce themselves, handed me their card and proceeded to do the test, 20 minutes later they were done. Everything passed, got my report and was told of one small issue, there's a small drip on test c*** #2...(I have no idea what that is), said he was able to do test this time, but next year it would have to be changed and told me what the approximate cost would be. Not only did they offer great service, but got a 10% discount by using Angie's list coupon!!..Wooo hoo..Thanks Angie and thank you Suzanne and John for all your efforts in handling my request as quickly and as professional as you have. I will definitely use their services in the future.

We have used Roselle Plumbing a few times for backed up drains as well as sump replacement. John is always punctual and takes his work seriously. He is clean and always thorough in his work and takes time to explain the problem and the repair work involved
We recently had a leaky faucet in the bathroom. We were offered to go out and get our own faucet or buy one through Roselle Plumbing. The part cost wasnt much different in price so we let them handle the whole thing . They came out a few days later with part in hand and took care of the replacement.

"The grades don't match the service at all! This customer called at 10:00am requesting service, and we arrived at 2:00pm the SAME DAY. We gave her a two hour window and we always call a 1/2 hour before the plumber arrives. She told our office that water was leaking under her kitchen sink. The plumber found her disposer was broken and her pipes were not piped properly to code. The book price was told up front to her, $600.00 to do 2 jobs. (Not $700 for a disposer, which she stated). When the job was completed, she thanked the plumber and smiled. If she didn't want the job done, simply say "no thankyou". There is no pressure sales ever."

They quoted us form a price sheet and we knew that they were not trying to take advantage of us since we were in a desperate situation. They sent 2 gentlemen out to do the job. I have mixed feelings about Roselle Plumbing. I did a quick scan of Angie's List plumbers and this looked well-rated, so I made the mistake of not reading the review thoroughly, like I normally do. I called around 2:00 p.m. to see when I could schedule an appointment to have my garbage disposal fixed and they said they might be able to get someone out this afternoon. The plumber was at my house around 4:00 p.m the same day, so I can't argue with the speed of service. Very impressive. The person I talked to on the phone let me know there would be a $49 service charge. I didn't question this, as it doesn't seem unusual. I should have asked if that would be applied to work done (as I thought was a normal practice). The plumber took about 5 minutes to determine the disposal was clogged. He let me know upfront that the cost would be $184 to unclog the disposal before doing any work. I asked if the $49 would be applied to this. He said it would not. I would have to pay the $49 service call fee on top of this. I felt I was already going to be charge $49, so rather than have to go through the whole process with another plumber, I would just pay the expensive cost and have it done. The plumber took about 15 minutes to repair the garbage disposal. So I realized when he was done, I was paying $233 for about 20 minutes of work. When I mentioned this to him, he had many excuses. They charge per job so even if it would have been more difficult to unjam, he still would charge the same. He is experienced and can get jobs done quickly, where as an apprentice may take longer. I'm sorry, but an apprentice may take 40 minutes total, so I'm still paying over $200 for 40 minutes of work. I feel like by agreeing to pay the $49 service call fee, I was locked in no matter what price they showed me later, and they sure did show me a price! When I complained about the price, he did offer me a 10% Angie's List coupon offer they had going on, which brought the price down to the $209.70. I then proceeded to let him know I would not be using their services again due to the pricing. He remained professional (other than joking that I was complaining because he performed the job too quickly! Sorry, not funny that it is acceptable to charge $233 for 20 minutes of work!) If you look at the other low ratings, their reviews are very similar and the responses back from the company are very dismissive, so I look forward to hearing what they will say about my review. The speed of coming out here was great. The work done was fine. The professionalism was okay. But in the end, the company was just not worth the cost. I will definitely be looking for a new plumber next time.
