After inspecting the chimmey, we found out we need some maintenance inside and around the chimmey also. We were given what I'd call a reasonable price for parts and labor and agreed to have the work done. "The overall experience was great. These guys know what they are doing. They tuckpointed a settlement crack and cleaned and patched a hole where PVC exits from. They removed the old mortar patch, which did not match in color with the existing brick and mortar, and filled it with material that matched. They even went an extra step in letting me pay in two installments as these are tough economic times. They may be a bit on the pricey side, but my understanding is that they employ union masoners. I am a firm believer in that 95% of the time, you get what you pay for. I would definitely hire this company again."
