His assistant installed a high-quality chimney cap with a lifetime warranty. We are very happy to have that taken care of to guard against rodents, etc., getting in the house through the chimney. Although the assistant threw the old chimney cap in the yard and left it there, we are overall extremely pleased with A1 Chimney. Rob seemed knowledgeable and personable even the first time he showed up for the initial evaluation and quote. Once he started the job, Rob sealed all the cracks and after a couple days when the cement had cured, he was able to install the gas logs. Rob even returned to fix the way the fire displayed through the logs when we indicated that we were not initially satisfied. He made it right.
