"I noticed there was water in the cabinet under my kitchen sink.  I turned on the kitchen faucet and noted the U drain was dripping water.  I placed a pot under the drip with a towel under the pot.  I then did a search on Angie's list to find a plumber.  The first name that came up was Charlies Plumbing - Heating and Sewerage Service.  I noted on the map that he had done work in my area. Since it was late in the day, I waited until morning to call.  Charlie answered his phone after just a few rings.  I told him my problem and where I lived.  He stated he was at a job and would call me later.  He called a few hours later and stated he could stop by and check out the problem.  True to his word, he rang the bell and Charlie and a co worker diagnosed the problem quickly - the pipe was cracked and needed to be replaced.  He had the part that needed replacement and completed the job.  I would definitely call Charlies Plumbing again and recommend his plumbing services.

"Wow, these guys know what they are doing! After a heavy rain we found out driveway drain was clogged. I called J&S and they came out the very next day. The crew was extremely professional and knowledgeable. They determined that our main sewer line was the problem and did a great job rodding it and getting rid of all the tree roots that caused the issue. It was so clogged that they had to rod it several time using various pieces of equipment in order to clear it. They televised the drain and made sure the drain was sound and totally clear. I would not hesitate to recommend them to everyone. I plan to have them come back annually to inspect and rod the drain."

"EXCELLENT! The pipe clogged on a SUNDAY AFTERNOON, of course. Water was leaking into our basement! I started looking for someone with 24 hour service, and no one could come out. Then I got a call from IL Sewer and Drain. Joe said he could be out in about an hour, it was already after 4:30 pm. He came out, and was able to unclog our pipe! But upon inspection, the pipe needed to be replaced. He was able to schedule it for the next morning! The work took a few hours, but was all finished and cleaned up! Secondly, I had mentioned to them that I will be doing a kitchen remodel project in the near future and that I will need to have the drain relocated. What they did was stage the area in prepapration for that project, so that there will be minimal work for when I start that project and have the sink in the new location. "Week before last we thought we had a clogged toilet.. It was apparently the main sewer line. We called a commercial franchise plumber out and $550 later we thought everything was fixed. This was on a Thursday. By the following Monday we were experiencing the same thing. We call them back out because it was a 6 month warranty. They diagnosed the issue stating we needed to get the main sewer line ( about 1-3 feet) replaced and they would need to dig a huge hole in the basement and etc.. Estimate was more than a small car. He & his team installed a cleanout in case this happened again we wouldn't have an issue getting it cleaned. This company hands down had excellent service and the owner was respectful, nice and delivered what he promised plus a 10 year warranty ."

He suggested placing a tray under the tank that has a drain hose just in case the new tank eventually leaks then it won’t run all over my basement.
