"The work went extremely well. The concrete is now properly raised and sloped for drainage. The gap between the slab and my front stairs is also sealed. It looks great. I highly recommend Perma-Seal."
"J & F did a great job. Julio was responsive, showed up on time and did a great job. They weren't able to shift over an extremely large piece of concrete that was out of alignment, but they did improve it, and we can landscape around the imperfection. We did have an estimate from another company that was a couple hundred dollars cheaper, but they never showed or contacted us back. So, there you go. Would hire J & F again."
"Crew arrived on time and worked efficiently. As the project progressed, 2 foundation cracks were discovered which added $900 to the original estimate. Old insulation along foundation wall was removed and replaced with silvery foam sheets. Joints were taped. Some leveling of the floor was done. Sheets were laid over the gravel floor also (crawlspace is not used for storage). 2 window well covers were installed. Our main goal was to have a warmer floor in the room above. We haven't noticed a major improvement yet."
"It went pretty well. They tool longer than I thought, and they used a sealant (gray) that didn't match the color of our house (white) or the concrete stoop. We were planning on painting it anyway, so in the end it's not a big deal. We like Real Seal and would use them again."
"The workers did a great job leveling my steps. I didn't know the quote did not include sealing the material used to lift my porch. I called the company and they sent someone out to apply concrete over the exposed space."
"Brian and his crew returned to my building on a warranty followup- their previous work done wonders for my flooding problems, but my foundation walls are apparently made of swiss cheese and there was one small seepage problem remaining which only shows up during a "100 year rain event". Brian indicated that they go for 100%, not 99% and scheduled time to come back out to my building to address the issue under the warranty (a.k.a. free of charge) from the original work. They came back out, dug up the foundation again, and found a crack hidden behind an old hasty concrete patching job that had been tarred over, which was determined to be causing the remaining seepage. They repaired the crack and were done with the whole task in only hours. I am a repeat customer, and can't say enough good things about Crawlspace and Basement Waterproofing solutions, they are friendly, helpful, and most of all, stand behind their work! "
"Luis and his team were friendly and knowledgeable. They did very excellent work and really took pride in their work. Each member of the team was very friendly and cooperative. The sidewalk was beveled properly and finished very meticulously. I would definitely use Designer's Concrete again."
"We were in the inspection process of buying a house, and Greg agreed to do an estimate, even though we knew the crawlspace might have been a deal breaker for us since it was in pretty bad shape. The home inspector suggested a vapor barrier. I searched Angie's list and found Greg and his crew. Another local company I called would not come out to do an estimate since it was only a home inspection, and we weren't 100% sure we were going to buy the house, let alone complete the work after the purchase. Upon talking with Greg the first time, I had a feeling that he was going to do a good job and be easy to work with. He was very straight forward and truthful. The crawlspace was a dirt floor, and probably hadn't been touched in over 20 years. It was dank, wet, full of bugs as evidenced by the webs and old traps. It was also had the beginnings of some rather serious issues from the neglect. The bones were good, but it was definitely time to dry it out and start over. Originally, I was looking to get the sealed with concrete and Greg suggested a new material, a spray on material, to use instead. He assured me it would be strong enough to be used for storage items. It would also save us 4 inches of clearance over the concrete, which makes a difference in a crawl space. I decided to go with it, even though it was a brand new method at the time for Greg and his team. We decided to move forward and buy the house and we also decided to hire Greg and team to help transform the space in to a working storage area. I could not be more happy with the result. Greg's team showed up and immediately got to work. Even though the house was not being lived in at the time and other contractors were there, the entrance and work areas were covered in plastic which is good thing as the guys coming out of the crawl were covered in mud. I was surprised out how swiftly the crew got to work. They got the job done quickly, and were extremely professional throughout the entire process. After a fantastically wet spring, it turns out that a foundation crack was causing some very minor seepage from the outside after all of the work was complete. Other houses in the area had their entire basements and crawls completely flooded. Greg came back and sealed a very small crack free of charge to finish up the job. I wish I had more crawlspaces to give Greg and his team more work. I will definitely use them again should the need arise."
Concrete leveling is not typically covered by insurance. In some cases where the shifting concrete is caused by a natural disaster or storm, you may be able to file an insurance claim if your policy specifically covers those circumstances. In most cases, though, you’ll pay out-of-pocket for concrete leveling.
The polyurethane used for polyjacking will expand and cure in 15 to 30 minutes. After that point, your slab will be safe to walk on and even drive on in the case of a sidewalk or concrete driveway. Double-check with your concrete lifting specialist to confirm a curing timeline, as products can differ.
Costs range from $500 to $1,500, depending on the size and condition of the area.
Most projects take 1-3 hours, with immediate usability after completion.
Charges correlate with surface size, settlement depth, and access, often yielding significant savings over concrete replacement.
