I am a new branch off an existing company, small family buisness so you don't pay the overhead! 15 years experience, mostly custom design. All rough, finish, and service work done right the first time! I can help you design and install your dream bath or kitchen and with as little cosmetic damage as possible. I have a network of my own subs to help with any other needs such as custom tile, carpentry ect! You won't be disappointed! All work is guaranteed. 24 hour emergency service with no overtime rate, bill is due in full upon completion, partial payments after stages such as rough in. Have a great connection to provide fixtures and a show room to view them, owner can provide ther own products, all labor will remain guaranteed, however product shall be covered by supplier if other than mine! State certified for water heater diagnosis and repair also!

"Joe did a great job and quickly too. While Joe was there he noticed the water pressure was too high (82 psi instead of 65 psi). He was able to replace our water regulator on the same call which also resolved several "leaky" faucets that were dripping do to the water pressure being too high. Had this happen about 15 years ago so I was glad Joe caught the issue. Also due to the over-pressure the pressure tank on my hot water heater was breached and full of water. Joe was able to replace it also while he was here saving us another trip. Joe was personable, professional, and knew what he was doing. Glad I called Beis plumbing and not someone else, even if it did cost more now everything is fixed and working properly. No more drippy faucets and a nice new water saving toilet. Win-Win situation"

Water Heaters questions, answered by experts

While heat pump water heaters are more expensive than gas-powered water heaters, the ROI is higher for heat pump units. Not only are heat pump water heaters more energy efficient, meaning immediate savings on your energy bill, but they also last longer than traditional gas versions, meaning you won't have to buy them as often.

Gas water heaters last between eight and 12 years on average. You can help them reach their maximum lifespan with regular cleanings, maintenance, and professional checkups, though don’t hesitate to swing for a full replacement if the total cost of repairs is greater than that of purchasing and installing a new unit.

A larger heater requires a larger breaker—unless there’s one already installed. The longer answer to this question is more nuanced. Do you place demands on the heater at the same time as running other heavy-duty appliances like ovens and washing machines? Do you live in an older home that may not have considered the higher electrical demands we have now? Breakers need to be sized at 125% of the load. To find that load, you should call a local electrical pro.

When wondering what size of breaker for a water heater is appropriate, the majority of hot water heaters need a 30-amp, two-pole breaker. Most residential water heaters use 240 volts and between 3,500 and 5,500 watts. If your appliance matches these measurements, a 30-amp breaker is likely perfect. Owners of point-of-use water heaters using 120 volts and between 1,500 and 3,000 watts often find that a 30-amp breaker is adequate. Water heaters that use more watts than average may need a 40-amp breaker. Smaller units that use fewer watts could potentially use a 20-amp breaker.

The standard copper wire gauge to use with any 30-amp circuit is a 10-gauge wire. The National Electric Code specifies a 10-gauge wire with appliances like water heaters running on 30 amps. If you try to use a smaller gauge wire, such as a 12 gauge, with a 30-amp breaker, you run the risk of the wire overheating and melting or causing a fire. Because of the safety hazards, the gauge of the wire is not an area to try to cut costs when connecting a 30-amp breaker to a water heater.
