Sol is very knowledgeable and answered all my questions, and I felt very comfortable with going ahead to have his company install a chimney liner. Greg and Gary came about 10 days later to do the installation, and were also friendly, professional and respectful of my home. "I had some massive buildup of lint in my dryer and I needed to get it cleaned ASAP. I did a quick Google search and called a few places around but they were not available immediately. When I called PT Duct Cleaning, they immediately picked the phone and scheduled an appointment for the very next day in the morning. I went ahead and told them to do my ducts also, having a 2 story house in Chicago the price that they quoted was very reasonable including for the dryer work which was separate. I was so glad I called them. They were very courteous and talked me through the step-by-step process of what they were going to do. They were very thorough with all the ducts and took extra time for my dryer and explained all the nuances about proper venting that is needed for dryer and how often to clean behind the dryer because lint gets trapped behind it also; I didn't know that. They finished the work in about 3 - 4 hours. All in all, I had a very positive experience with the PT Duct Cleaning crew. I would call them again for my future duct cleaning and would also highly recommend it to my family and friends."

"Beware of shipping issues with this company. Ordered an ice maker installation kit on 10/10/25. Shipping was due no later than 10/20 according to company and FedEx tracking. FedEx tracking showed the package at their facility for 8 days without moving beginning on 10/15. Called FedEx 3 times. Each time they said they cannot find package and I have to contact shipper. Shipper has to make a claim, they will not mark it as lost. Called Appliance Parts Pros twice. Each time they say FedEx has to mark package lost before they will do anything. They also state they have to wait 14 days from them before doing anything because of their contract with FedEx. I don't care about their contract, I want what was ordered and paid for. Just going in circles with them and FedEX. If they shipped after 14 days it would be 22 days from that point, 32 days from the date of order if they shipped it that day. "Dryer Vent Wizard came to my home on Weds. July 11 to clean my dryer vent system. I am on the third floor of a walk-up condo building. Mory looked at the system and outside. He said he could clean the system from inside my condo, did not need access to the roof and quoted me a price. There is a $49 service call charge which was never mentioned, so be advised. I agreed and he went to get the equipment. He needed to use a small ladder I had. It made me a little nervous to see him perched on the ladder and my washing machine so I keep looking over to make sure he was safe. He said "people watching make me nervous" so I stopped (if you do hire, I advise watching anyway). After about 20 minutes he was done. Mory knew I was getting a new washer/dryer on Saturday. When the new washer/dryer came on Saturday the 14th, the old one was taken away. While the delivery/installers were taking the old one down, I looked into the accordion tubing that goes from the dryer to the vent. It had lint in it. So I stuck my hand on and was able to go midway up the tubing and pulled out nearly a vacuum canister full of lint. When the installers were attaching the new according tubing, I mentioned this and one said, "it looks like he hardly cleaned anything". I will admit that I did not get on the ladder and look into the vent system leading out so I cannot say what condition that is. However, after seeing all the lint left in the tubing and paying $274.00 for that, I am QUITE angry. I certainly feel I did not get a full service cleaning as contracted. "Mory contacted me and apologized for not completing the job as commissioned. He offered to return and do another cleaning but as I had the job finished when I had the new unit installed, there was no need. We made alternative arrangements which were satisfactory to both parties.""

Saturn Heating Cooling and Electrical Services has been a trusted service partner for homes and businesses for 25 years. Serving the west, northwest, and southwest suburbs of Chicago for electrical services, backup power generators, electric vehicle chargers and heating and cooling.

"Initially contacted Saturn on 12/21/2021 and scheduled a tech visit. On 12/24 or 12/27, a tech stated that we needed a new engine or a new generator but was unable to provide additional information on where to purchase. I researched and determined that a comparable generator would take 4 to 6 months to arrive but found a new engine from an aftermarket supply outlet. I ordered the engine with a 30 day return option costing $750. I advised Saturn and scheduled an appointment for the tech to install on 1/13/2022. This appointment had to be rescheduled for 1/27/2022 to due to Covid affecting Saturn's workforce. That appointment was also missed. On 2/1/2022, two techs arrived and determined that a new engine was not needed but a new starter and gas valve were necessary. Unfortunately the 30 day return policy on the new engine had already expired. I was told an estimate would be completed for me to review. On 2/7/2022 I called the Saturn office and told them I was still waiting for an estimate. A service call was eventually scheduled on 2/22/2022 for 3/2/2022. I never received an estimate for parts and labor. The tech that performed the service that day replaced parts and performed multiple successful tests but left before I could speak with him. One week later the generator failed a test start. I tried contacting the tech to get some troubleshooting suggestions but he didn't return my call. I called the office and was told they would contact the tech. That was the last time I spoke with anyone a Saturn. On 3/14/2022 I contacted another vendor who was able to send a tech on 3/28/2022. He determined that spider webs in the gas valve needed to be cleaned out (an issue that was supposedly addressed by Saturn) and the automatic voltage regulator wasn't working. I ordered and replaced the AVR and the generator has been running fine since. On 6/27/2022 I was emailed an invoice automatically generated by QuickBooks dated 3/22 and due on 5/11 for $906 ($418 parts/$489 labor). I emailed them back that they never presented an estimate nor finished the job and asked them to contact me to discuss. No contact was made so I sent Saturn a check to pay for parts. Two more invoices were automatically sent for $489. I gave up and paid the invoice this week. Seeing how I unnecessarily purchased a new engine, the long time lag in service visits, didn't get an estimate, had no follow-up when informed the generator wouldn't start after repairs plus no communications concerning billing, I will not be using Saturn again."
