Matt scheduled my estimate for the very next morning and politely called prior to arriving. The price was reasonable given the size of the tree so I mailed my signed contract the next day. As soon as my contract was received, Matt called me to schedule the service. The service was performed the following week and was done quickly and professionally. "Hired for lawncare and snow. It has been a disaster from beginning to end. From the start of getting licensed -2 months to fill out app. 1st snow -They have left our lot a total mess. They promised services they cannot adequately deliver for residential. The first snow and everything has been wrong. They sold us a dream- the reviews have to be lies that someone put out there. The first snow; equipment breakdown; they do not come when they say they are going to come; plowed snow toward the building in parking spaces, said they would be out to fix it. That was at 7-8ish this morning. Then said around 12pmish it would be about 4 hours. It is 6pm snowing again and we are being held hostage waiting for services. I would not recommend them to any residential building ever. I had to shovel myself out yesterday for 2 1/2 HOURS to ensure I could get out to go to work today. I had to salt some areas. The elderly can't get to their cars. Im still waiting -text at 12pm to come & salt & plow. "

Removing tree stumps is a dangerous and complex job that requires a high level of expertise. Many landscapers specialize in general lawn care and maintenance. Keep in mind that paying for professional palm tree planting or transplanting services will increase the cost.

You can use a chainsaw, but it won’t remove the entire stump or root ball and is not a recommended method. It takes quite a bit of physical work to achieve and will likely dull or ruin your chainsaw. Instead, consider using salt, herbicide, light deprivation, boiling water, stump grinding, or burning to kill a tree stump. These methods allow you to kill a stump using minimal machinery and physical exertion.

All of the tree root removal methods mentioned above are effective on any kind of root, whether it’s still growing or simply needs a gentle nudge to finish decomposing. The only difference is that larger roots tend to be harder to remove and may require multiple chemical treatments as well as manual labor to eradicate.

There are a few things you should look for in a stump removal company to make sure you’ll be satisfied with the results:

  • Proper business licensing and insurance

  • History of positive reviews

  • Good rating with the Better Business Bureau
