They're an excellent operation as well. The oil change was included in my maintenance package that came with the car. I would use them again without a doubt. There is not a thing that they need to work on, everything was just above standards

I have always had my 2012 Kia Optima serviced at Gary Lang Auto Group since I bought it. Their service is fast, friendly and accurate. The wait time is short (usually about 45 minutes) and the customer lounge is very comfortable. Their charges are most reasonable.

History
We have purchased all our Subaru's since 2001, through Gary Lang. The Service Department is the reason.
What went Wrong on our Brand New Subaru
On 9/8/2013 -- while driving the car, a stone from the road got between the brake and the rotor on the driver's side. This was the second time this had happened, since our purchase of this 2014 Subaru, in July 2014. In less than 2 months, this problem happened twice.
We have never had this problem with any of our other subaru purchases (we have owned subaru's since the 1980s) -- so it looks like Subaru might be cutting corners on the manufacture of its cars ??????
The problem was not Gary Lang's fault; but neither was it our fault. Gary Lang fixed the problem twice at no charge.
That is how much they care about their customers.
Getting 'stones out of rotors' is NOT one of the 'Subaru covered services' on brand new cars. So either Subaru needs to change its front-engineering design to prevent this in the future, or we need to switch car brands.
We will stay with Gary Lang

I used a rental car, and I was confused about the requirements of the rental car. The person who was providing the rental car sort of mislead me. The dealer was trying to make that better for me. They said, "When you bring your car in for oil change, you bring it in and we will fill up your gas tank without charge." That was not a bad deal. When they took the car, and fill it up, the kid that was driving it wrecked it. It was about 12,000$ damage on a 22,000$ car. It took awhile to sort that out. They got me a new one. They were not really clear on what was going to happen, and how was it going to happen. They were kind of like resistant, hoping that I would cave in. I did not, and I said, "No, you got to get a new car. You cannot fix it. I do not care how many cars you give me. You give me three car, and find me a new one." They finally did that. When they gave it to me, it was a brand new car with a bad engine. The engine blew up. They gave me a brand new engine, and the car was wonderful since then. I spent so much time with the dealer.

They were very caring and informative. They were very dedicated to get the job done right. They never tried to upsell and wanted to make sure the work was done right. They went above and beyond.

They actually wrecked my car when they took it to be filled up. They replaced the car and it didn't cost me anything. Their garage staff is very professional.

After searching everywhere for my car (Cadillac), I decided to purchase from Gary Lang (this was in 2006). I was very impressed by the way their sales staff treated me, they were polite and professional, without the cheesy car-salesman pitch you get everywhere else. I was able to negotiate a fair price for my trade and my new car, and for the first time in my life, I drove away feeling happy about the transaction. Since then, I've used them for servicing my vehicles, despite it being a 45-minute drive and I pass a couple other GM dealerships on the way. They always get my car in immediately, give me a free loaner, fix the problem right the first time, and are kind and patient with me. I've compared their prices with other dealers and independent shops and have been surprised with how reasonable their prices are. Overall, I've always had an excellent experience with Gary Lang, and plan to be a loyal customer for as long as I'm treated this way.

SIMPLE OIL LEAK THAT TOOK 7 VISITS AND OVER ONE MONTH BEFORE IT WAS RESOLVED. INITIAL REPAIR WAS THE OIL PAN GASKET, WHICH DID NOT FIX LEAK. BOLTS WERE RETIGHTENED TWICE AND THE PAN SEAL WAS ALSO REDONE. OIL STILL LEAKED. OIL PAN WAS THEN REPLACED, WHICH FIXED LEAK. I QUESTION THE SKILL OF THEIR MECHANICS. SERVICE STAFF WERE COURTEOUS AND RESPONSIVE EXCEPT FOR DAVID ABRAHAM, SERVICE DIRECTOR, WHO WOULD NOT DEAL WITH ME. HE LEFT HIS EMPLOYEES TO DEAL WITH PROBLEM. AFTER SEVERAL VISITS, I WOULD THINK HE WOULD WANT TO GET INVOLVED. THEY DID PROVIDE SHUTTLE SERVICE AND FINALLY OFFERED A LOANER AFTER I COMPLAINED. I DID NOT PAY FOR LABOR ON THE OIL PAN AND THEY GAVE ME A BREAK ON ITS PRICE. I'M IN THE MARKET FOR A NEW CAR. I WOULD NOT BUY A CAR FROM LANG, AND WILL NOT GO THERE FOR FUTURE SERVICE. WORST CAR SERVICE EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD IN 35 YEARS OF OWNING/SERVICING CARS.
