I have a 2018 ford escspe. My car is supposed to be under bumper to bumper warranty and ford is refusing to repair it. The entire right side of the bottom of my car is hanging and ford is saying that I need to pay for it when they should cover it and apologize to me because this vehicle should not have as many issues as it does. Also, the vehicle has a pulling feeling when I'm on the highway. I specifically told them that the pulling does not happen when I drive on the street. So they test drove the car on the street only and told me they didn't feel any pulling. And if I wanted them to drive on the highway I would have to pay for time, labor, and tolls. That is so wrong. They are not honoring my warranty. Also, it is important to mention that they replaced the entire engine in September 2019.

I wrote a review about a week ago for Golf Mill Ford in which I described how my GPS had been stolen from my car while at Golf Mill Ford.  When I purchased the car, included in the deal was a tow hitch and roof racks.  I returned to the dealer today and the service department was fast and efficient.  However, upon returning home I realized that one of my floor mats was missing.  Apparently this dealership thinks stealing things from peoples cars is some sort of entertainment.  The rubber cap was also missing from the trailer hitch which they have assured me can be mailed to my home.

When I wrote the last review, someone from the dealership replied bragging about the top notch sales and all of the awards this dealership had received and how they provide great customer care and service.  If you look through the various reviews from the dealership, you will see that they "copy/paste" a  canned response to all complaints.  They don't even car if people complain.

Don't believe anything good you hear about Golf Mill Ford.  They are the most arrogant unprofessional car dealership I have ever worked with.

I went to Golf Mill Ford to look for a Ford Flex and purchased a Flex with 20,000 miles on it.  I traded in my Ford Transit Connect.  I realized after purchasing the new car my GPS and transponder were still in my van that I was trading in and called Golf Mill Ford to ask the sales person to please grab my GPS and transponder from the trade in and hold them for me.  They said "no problem" this "happens all the time" we will get it for you and have it at the front desk.  The following day was 4th of July holiday and the dealership is closed on Sunday July 5th.  I called the dealership a number of times on Monday, got put on hold, voice mail, etc. and decided to drive over and ask about the GPS and tollway transponder.  I met my sales person who said, I'm sorry, the van went out for detailing, please call us tomorrow and we should have the car back and can get it from the vehicle for you.  I was again assured that everyone is "very honest" and I would have my GPS and transponder back in no time.  On Tuesday I called the dealership multiple times and wasn't able to connect with my sales person so I spoke to the sales manager.  He assured me that they had my GPS and transponder and I could come and get it between 7:30 and 8:00pm.  Although I had planned to go to a concert with my boyfriend, I apologized to my boyfriend about missing the concert and went to get my GPS and transponder at 7:30.  When I arrived I waited for about 20 minutes and no one would help me.  I finally asked for the sales manager and he was on the phone clearly being chewed out by a customer and making angry faces and swearing while the customer was on hold.  I walked over when he finished his call and introduced myself asking for my GPS and transponder.  Suddenly my sales person (who I had been told had the day off) appeared with an envelope containing only my transponder.  I asked about the GPS and they said there wasn't one.  I said of course there was.  It was in the little cubby above the dash board.  They said no, it was empty.  I said then it was stolen.  They laughed at me and said no - you never had one.  I said I most certainly did and I'm going to have to file a police report as it would appear it has been stolen.  A number of the sales people heard the commotion and came over to listen.  They started laughing at me.  I told the sales manager I would file a police report about the stolen GPS and had a good mind to return the car as it is very dishonest to steal from customers.  He said you can't return the car.  I said oh really?  We'll see about that and left the establishment.  I filed a police report regarding the theft and the officer told me he has had dealings with them in the past and they are arrogant a*holes.  He will attempt to recover the GPS.  There are security cameras on the grounds at the dealership as well as at the detailing facility.  In addition, there is a national database and since I had the serial number of my GPS, they would input the serial number and when the GPS is turned on, they will be notified and recover the stolen GPS.
Unfortunately I still have to go back to the dealership as they are to install top side rails and a trailer hitch (thank goodness I got it in writing in my contract).  I'm just wondering how difficult they are going to make getting the parts and work done for me.

It was a free service because we bought a car. They're very personable. They know your name, and they act like they care about you. I don't know how true that is but they got a really good reputation that way anyway. They're pretty straight up. They put the wrong size hitch on my son's car because he had one before. We thought that he would be having it replaced like the one that he had. When we went home and figured out that the other stuff doesn't fit, they said that the other car was not there anymore so they went to the salesperson to find out what's the deal was, and they said just put a clasp to hitch on it. There was never any discussion of type of hitch at the time we bought the car, so that was the problem. We're still in negotiations with them as when they're going to replace that, but I'm confident that we'll get the right one, that's how they've been good in the past. It was a surprise that we didn't get the right one. We bought our cars with them over the last three years, and they delivered everything that they said they're going to do. I think the price, and quality were fine. I think it's what it should be. We'll use them again for sure.

They were always good. You do not need an appointment to get basic stuff like oil change, tires and things like that.

I traded an explorer that I purchased from Golf Mill Ford last year for a Tahoe Dec 12th. They were very pleasant and professional and I had no issues with them until a month later. A month after I traded the explorer I started getting collection calls from the finance company that held the note on the explorer. Golf Mill Ford did not finalize the paperwork on the loan until 2 months after I traded it in. From December 12 to the second week of March they left the paperwork in limbo and I was left to deal with the collection calls. In addition to that we were assured that the issues with the Tahoe, which was used, would be fixed in their entirety. Only one repair was made the others were ignored and the dealer insisted it was road safe enough. As a result of this our credit reports state serious delinquency and we are having a hard time getting a home loan. Golf Mill Ford has ruined my credit and refuses to hold up their end of the deal. Not trustworthy.

I really like their service department. I am really impressed with their service. They never once tried to outsell. They always try to find me a discount here and there, if it is something major. I have had my truck now for over 14 years and I have been going to them well over 10 years. I have also had radiator issues with my truck and they always take very good care of me. They get me a loaner car and they don't charge for it. Their price is competitive for what I get.

Our son was in an accident and totaled our second car. We decided to buy a used one, and found 2 that we really liked on the Golf Mill website, with prices. When we arrived at the dealer, those cars "weren't available for us to see." The salesperson said they were being cleaned or something. So he showed us a list of some other internet cars (with prices) and we saw one we wanted to see. Again, the key was missing or something. He took us out into the lot, where all the used cars do not have sticker prices. I found a 2004 Neon that seemed to fit the bill. When we sat down to negotiate he indicated the car was listed for 10,500 - but he could "come down' to somewhere in the 8 thousand range. We had not researched the car and had no idea. Fortunately, my wife had her iPad and found the blue book value of the car was about $5300. The sales manager came over and assured us he had put "a lot into it" to make it safe, and that was why the price was drastically higher than Blue Book, he specifically mentioned the transmission being fixed. After some very tough negotiation, we agreed on a sales price of $6300. Since purchasing the car, we have spent more than 3,000 dollars on repairs, including the transmission. One problem involved broken motor mounts, which obviously were damaged a long time ago, before we purchased the car. It's a lemon. Don't make the mistake of buying a used car here. When someone looks you in the eye and lies about the condition of the car and how much money and repair work "he's put into it" to keep "your family safe" that's a very bad sign. And we've only had the car for a little more than 6 months....

The folks there were great - I was able to get in quickly (my warranty was expiring soon) and they have a shuttle service so they took me to the train. They kept in constant contact with me during the day (3-4 phone calls) giving me updates on status as well as asking additional questions.

I usually don't go to the dealership unless the problem is too complicated for my usual mechanic to deal with. After my mechanic couldn't resolve the "Check Engine" light for the 3rd time, I broght the Explorer to Golf Mill Ford. The service advisor, Mr. Park, was very professional and called me in the afternoon after I dropped off the car to told me that the fueling neck is very rusted and need to be replace (that was the suspection my mechanic and I had but after seveal attempted by my usual mechanic that I decided to bit the bullet and bring to the dealership). The parts had to be special order and I had to paid in full in advance when I decided to order the parts and take the car home while I wait for the parts. The parts were in national backorder and it would take 2 weeks to get it. The parts did not arrived until the 3rd week and after me calling the dearship to follow up on the parts. The car was fixed in the same day when I dropped it off in the morning and had been running fine since then. Overall I am fine with the repair but I think the dealership should took the initiative to call me when the parts were still in back order after 2 weeks. I would gave Golf Mill a better rating if not for the price and lack of communication.

I have no complaints about the work done on my van. John, the service adviser, called promptly in the morning to inform me about what was causing the squealing sound while turning the steering wheel. The vehicle was ready when promised and was washed, which was very nice. HOWEVER, I was VERY DISPLEASED WITH THE CASHIER'S OFFICE. The day after the service was completed I had a reason to request that the payment be switched from one credit card to another card. All they needed to do was to issue a credit on one card and charge my bill to another card. They REFUSED to do this for me. When I made my request, the cashier's office was not busy at all. I have never needed to ask them to do this before. I see no reason why they could not have done this for me. They were certainly not being very customer friendly. I will avoid bringing my car to this dealership in the future.

I dropped the car off in the evening and at 9:30 am the service adviser called to give me a price for the windshield washer repair. The car was ready when promised, complete with a car wash!
