"After the big spring rains, water began seeping into my basement at several locations. I could see tree roots encroaching on the sump pump and assumed that drain tile was clogged resulting in water pressure strong enough to seep through the joint between the foundation wall and the floor. Tim explained that tree roots should be killed off with copper sulfate and that seepage was likely the result of cracks in the foundation wall that are covered up by the drywall. He said a single leak can appear in multiple locations as it travels along the 2x4's anchored to the floor. We talked about how I could go about finding cracks. He showed me the machine he would use if I decided to have him clear out the drains and warned that the silt and debris may tear up my sump pump. His focus was on helping me understand what my options are, not selling me a service I may not need and for that I'm grateful. I will definitely call him back when the time comes."

He had an array of cabinet choices and he has relationships with helpful and good quality vendors. The project took longer than intended, but I hear that is fairly common with construction."

"Amazing is the first word that comes to mind! We had just the best experience with Jakubek Inc! We decided to remodel two of our bathrooms when he had tile fall in one of our showers. Just days before our project was supposed to start in May 2023 I had to cancel the project as we found out my husband was sick. David was so understanding and compassionate. We ended up resuming the bathrooms in Nov 2023. David communicated with us every step of the way and always checked with us when if something was going to change.
