"Spring-Green recently serviced our neighbor's home (893 Woodstock Road). The product they used to kill weeds also killed two large sections of our grass at 897 Woodstock Road. In addition, there was also damage to the client's grass. They are refusing to correct this damage and are avoiding any direct contact."

"Victor is threatening, treats customers terribly, and awful. Absolutely the worst service possible. The lawn is a straight simple cut in front of a building. They come and literally spend 3 minutes. Mow right over garbage, do no edging, trimming, blowing etc. TERRIBLE job! When I called to complain & said there are weeds a foot tall at the edge of where the lawn was allegedly mowed Victor said I was lying. I took pics. No bill was mailed when I repeatedly said I needed one for building records and told them cancel service. Victor got aggressive demanded payment stating "It won't be hard to find you." The owners are upset I paid him the $350 for a horrible job. Just glad to be done with them!"

"We were told by a number of folks that Rocco used to be fantastic. We have, unfortunately, had the opposite experience. After 1 year with them, we are switching to another service. The problems include: the inability to reach the regional manager who met with us when we initially hired Rocco and told us he would be our point of contact; lack of weeding and trimming; skimping on time during weekly maintenance; chemically burned grass by Rocco's lawn subcontractor that Rocco ultimately had to repair; requests to purchase plant materials and trees that never showed up or took weeks to receive despite repeated requests for bids, and most importantly an unfortunate lack of communication between those doing the work and those supervising the work. Regrettably, we would have to ask 3-4 times (like spraying for weeds in the lawn) for something to be done, and it would still not be accomplished. Many times, I felt like I should be charging my time back to Rocco for having to weed my own beds, trim my own bushes, and dead head flowers myself even though the Rocco contract specified these were services they would provide. One or two instances would not have been so dunning, but as the litany of issues and mistakes increased, it simply became even too much for us to bear. I am afraid I cannot in good conscience recommend Rocco to any of my neighbors. Hopefully, they can right the ship in the future."

"We began using Certified VIP this summer after our long time service essentially gave up on us after ruining our entire lawn and neglecting the new sod they put down to fix their mess. The new sod was over run with weeds. Within a couple of weeks, Certified VIP brought restored our lawn to pristine condition. They arrive as scheduled and do the job according to our contract. So far we're very pleased since hiring them to maintain our new lawn."

"1. DID NOT COMMUNICATE A SCHEDULE 3 WEEKS AFTER QUOTE APPROVAL. HAD TO CALL TO FIND OUT WHEN THEY PLANNED TO DO THE WORK. 2. NO SHOW ON DAY OF WORK. NO CALL ON THE DAY OF WORK. I HAD TO CALL A FEW DAYS AFTERWARD TO FIND OUT THAT THEY COULDN'T MAKE IT. I didn't negotiate Ringers down. I accepted the quote in good faith on their first proposal. The person who came out and provided the quote was courteous and professional. I was pretty excited about clearing the land of debris and overgrowth. I had to call to find out when they were going to arrive 3 weeks after quote approval. They advised me that they would conduct the clearing and grubbing work in my yard on Veteran's Day. I'm a Veteran (disabled). They never showed or called to inform me of any re-schedule. I cancelled the order and requested a full refund. Refund received."

"I have hired this business twice. First time was great. Second time in August 2021 was not good. Took over a month after contract sign for them to come toy house. They showed up a day late (scheduled for August 30, didn't come until 31st, no explanation.) The job foreman was rude and tried to do far less work than we had contracted for until I escalated. Then once tree trim was done, they left most of the wood in my front yard instead of chopping/removing it as I had paid for. I called, was told the pile of wood was going to be removed the next day. However it never happened. The office ignores my phone calls and emails and this giant pile of wood that I paid in advance to have removed is still sitting in my front yard. I will be fined by my village for abandoned debris. Never again will I hire this company, ripoff!!!!"
