We were selling a farm house property and at the last minute the buyer's mortgage company required that a large dilapidated barn be removed before the sale could close. Because of our short timeline and the location's rural location, we had a hard time finding an contractor. TILT offered a bid at a reasonable price and did the job exceedingly well. "I don?t know that I would trust these guys. I received a quote to replace my pump. Agreed to do everything they suggested. The day they did the work, everything went smoothly. Unfortunately the outcome wasn?t what I was hoping for - increased water production on a poor production well, but that?s not their fault. Here?s where you shouldn?t trust them. Right as the job was finished, a fourth guy showed up. He sorta fumbled around and did nothing, apparently he was their solar guy. When they were ?finished? two of the workers demanded payment, one of which was pretty rude about it. It felt odd considering the job wasn?t completed, they were supposed to come back the next day and install a bracket to support the water line. They left all my old well pump, pipe, and wires which is what I wanted. They took the pump controller that was less than a year old. Then I get the bill and it?s $600 more than I agreed to with no explanation, other than the fumbling solar guy said it took 4 guys. "

When testing the pressure of your well tank, the psi should be two below the cut-on pressure. For example, if your tank is set to 40/60, then your pressure should be at 38 psi.

The precharged pressure tank should start at around 28 psi. The two pressure settings of note are the cut-in and cut-out pressure. The well pump starts when the tank reaches the minimum cut-in pressure. It turns off when the tank reaches the maximum cut-out pressure. Installing a concrete riser differs from installing plastic or fiberglass risers primarily in the materials and methods used. The process involves cutting the concrete risers to the required length and then stacking them, using concrete sealant or adhesive between sections for secure attachment. Due to their weight, extra care is necessary during leveling and the attachment of sections. Concrete sealant or adhesive may also require a curing before the riser is ready for use.
