With nearly 500 five-star online reviews and A+ rated by the Better Business Bureau, Encore is a locally owned and operated metal roofing company that has succeeded in giving exceptional service and superior quality to its customers with no dissatisfied customers to date! Most customers found our metal roofing costs to be less than half of other companies, and in many cases less than the cost of a shingle roof replacement. Metal roofing is far superior to shingle roofing for the following reasons; #1 – it is much cooler than asphalt shingles- regardless of color. #2 – it is equivalent to the same cost. #3 – the lifetime of a metal roof is 3 to 4 times that of a shingle roof— or longer. #4 – Metal roofing increases the resale value of your home. #5 – Metal roofing eliminates the possible need for replacing any wood decking due to the fact that the metal roofing is installed using its own wood strip foundation. This is a huge cost savings for roofs that have possible rotten or weak wood decking. #6– Metal roofing sheds water much better than asphalt shingles, and is 2 to 3 times less likely to leak. #7 – the highest wind rating for a regular shingle roof is 130 mph – Metal roofing is 2 to 3 times better. Here are some myths online and otherwise that are simply NOT true regarding Metal roofing: #1 – Metal roofing is actually NOT heavier than shingle roofing— it is less than half the weight of shingle roofing. #2 – Metal roofing is NOT noisy due to the fact that we leave the existing shingles as a sound barrier and a thermal barrier. #3- Metal roofing is NOT 2 to 3 times the price. #4- Metal roofing does NOT affect cell phone reception or Internet usage. Although Encore Roofs specializes in quality and affordable metal roofing, we also provide other services such as blow in attic insulation and pressure washing. Customers like us because; - We are NOT a franchise- we are locally owned and operated. - The owner is on every job, every day of the job. - 95% of all projects are completed within within two weeks of a signed contract. - once work begins on a project, pricing does not change. - trustworthy, professional, communicative, clean work practices, quality materials, guaranteed installation, competitive cost. - Sorry; No hablo español. We look forward to working for you, and making you another one of our very happy customers :-)

"Encore Roofs did a excellent job on repairing my roof. I will not hesitate to use them again. Brian and his son completed the job in 2 days. Brian is personable, honest, and explained the issue and resolution. My roof has leaked since we purchased the house, and per the neighbors, since the house was built. The house has two different transition pitches on two different sections of the roof. The older part of the house was designed wrong and had no flashing. The newer add-on had transition flashing that was installed wrong. I talked to 3 companies as to how they would remediate the issue. One gave a quote over the phone via a satellite view only. Encore roofing and the other company met with me in person. Encore Roofs' repair design made sense, has a 10 year warranty on the work, and was competitive priced. The other companies only had warranties on a new roof. Encore Roofs replaced the ridge cap, put in a ridge vent, put in transition flashing on the older part, replaced the transition flashing on the newer part, fixed the roof rake, re-screwed the older part of the roof, and removed the old roof debris. Brian's innovative design eliminated the foam (that dry rots with age) under the transition flashing and the ridge cap. Brian also gave me the option to keep the left over new flashing and ridge cap. The completed work looks great."

"I had Illinois Valley Insulation at my house to blow in insulation in my garage attic. I was told by the owner Scott Bickett that I needed an R30 value which means I would need about 8 1/4” of insulation blown in. He was paid in cash($1500 paid in full but only did half the work), and a couple of days later I went up there and measured and only have about 4 1/2 inches so he only did about half the work and charged full price. And when I confronted him, he told me there’s8 to 10 inches up there which is a lie and I’ve given him every opportunity to call come by Measure and prove to me that is there, but he has failed to do so because he is just proving my point that he is in the wrong. And now he still will not provide me with a receipt so he’s trying to keep the cash and hide it like he didn’t do the Work very unprofessional."

We are a general contractor that serves Iowa and Illinois. If you can think it, we will figure out a way to create it for you at an honest price and great customer service. We have several financing options available for almost every type of credit risk. We offer several promotions throughout the year for both product and financing.

"Failed to show up on agreed upon work date due to overbooking. Bid vinyl for an aluminum replacement, then was unresponsive about bidding aluminum. When we decided to go elsewhere, six months later they sent us an invoice for an additional, arbitrary $3k for work not performed. We disputed the invoice and never heard back until we got another invoice another seven months later seeking double the original amount including monthly interest and an ‘overhead & profit’ fee."

Chimney Liner Installation questions, answered by experts

Most likely, a gas plumber would be the best pro for many components in your home, and you might not even realize it. Natural gas plumbers are responsible for maintaining and installing natural gas lines, including installing appliances that use natural gas. These can include:

  • Fireplaces

  • Water heaters

  • Furnaces

  • Hot tubs

  • Clothes dryers

  • Ovens

  • Outdoor grills

Gas plumbers are also the pros that would handle a natural gas leak in your home, so it's essential to know the signs of a gas leak before it becomes a dangerous situation.

Local codes often mandate specific fittings, permits, and vent considerations for permitted function and safety, which are enforced by professionals.

A few potential problems can cause your gas grill to stop working:

  • Burners aren’t properly aligned.

  • Food debris is clogging the burners.

  • Hose connections may be blocked.

  • Burners may not be getting enough gas.

  • Gas valve is not working properly.

If you’re experiencing any of those problems with your gas grill, hire a local grill repair professional to inspect your grill for issues and implement a plan to resolve them.

Yes, professional services include proper fuel line connection and ventilation to meet safety codes.

Built-in gas grills typically have a life span of 10 to 15 years. However, their longevity can vary based on quality, usage frequency, climate conditions, and maintenance routines. High-quality models made from durable materials tend to last longer. Additionally, regular cleaning, covering the grill when not in use, and conducting routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning burners and replacing worn-out parts can extend its life. A well-maintained built-in gas grill can provide excellent performance and memorable cooking experiences for a decade or more, making it a worthwhile investment for outdoor cooking enthusiasts.
