"I wanted to thank Colt and his partner for a great outcome to our tiling project which included removing and replacing cracked tiles without damaging any of those surrounding, as well as redoing a bathroom floor in plank tiles. They did everything they said the would in a timely manner and I would highly recommend hiring them . Blessings to you for your hard work and diligence, it is a pleasure to hire folks that take pride in their jobs. Thanks to you both, Rod and Kathy"

"We had Cade fix an underground water pipe issue for a commercial property. His communication was prompt, and he was able to get us in his schedule within a week of reaching out for a quote. work was completed within the day despite some issues they ran into with their equipment. the cement patch he used has not set after a week of curing time, so we plan on re-patching the small hole that was necessary to the job (will be an easy fix, but im not sure what he used to fill) . This is the only reason this is a 4 star review rather than a 5. overall, we are very pleased with the work and prompt communication."

Small jobs welcome

"Very professional. Even though the cellular shade was not able to be repaired, it wasn't for lack of effort. She contacted the company and parts were no longer available. She kept us informed about the progress and was persistent in her efforts. I would recommend her!"

Ceramic Tile questions, answered by experts

Figure out how much tile you need by measuring the backsplash area. Measure the height and length in feet and multiply to get the square footage. Don’t make adjustments for outlets or small cutouts but subtract the square footage for windows or other large obstructions from the total. To account for waste, get 10% more than your calculation.

Generally speaking, it is better to cut tile wet when using a fast-moving wet saw to reduce dust and chipping. However, tile can be cut dry when using just about any cutting tool. Dry cutting will result in a bigger mess and may increase the risk of chipping or cracking, but if you’re just making small cuts, dry cutting is a safe and viable option. Cutting dry also means you can apply tile grout sooner, so it’s better for rushed projects.

Yes, you can tile over existing shower tiles, but it's better to remove the old tiles first for the best results. Tiling over existing tiles requires a clean, level surface and proper adhesion. If the old tiles are in good condition, you can roughen the surface to improve adhesion. However, removing the old tiles ensures a smoother, longer-lasting finish and prevents potential issues down the line.

Bathrooms are naturally moisture-rich environments, so choose a durable, water-resistant tile for your tub surround. Porcelain and ceramic are two popular options that are also quite affordable. Glass is another good option that’s also low-maintenance—you just need a glass cleaner like you would use on the bathroom mirror. Natural stone tile is porous, but it’s still a viable option if you choose it in a glazed version.

Professionals can enhance bathroom aesthetics by recommending and implementing design elements such as modern fixtures, high-quality tiles, and efficient layouts. They ensure cohesive style, compliment functionality, and an enhanced visual appeal in the space.
