Ryan and his crew were wonderful, friendly, and eager to please. John, the owner, came out at the end of the project to ensure I was pleased and also helped move some furniture back in place. There were a few things where I think they could improve and I told them what they were: 1) For the prep side of things, use of drop cloths over furniture so dust isn't settling on everything, 2) turning off the ventilation system so that dust isn't being pumped through the house prior to removing the carpet and prepping the foundation. I would take a star off for that, but they worked so hard to try and make me happy that they deserve that star. My floors are gorgeous, and I will be using FCI again.

The engineered floors these people put down were of poor quality. I actually cried when I saw the finished project as I realize we had just wasted $7000.00. On top of that, glue residue remained all over the floor making them look dirty. I tried cleaning them with every wood floor product on the market to no avail. I called the man who sold them to me and he brought over a special solvent....and even that did not remove the glue. He inspected all 5 rooms. He told me he had never encountered this and called his boss who said they would get back to me. ONLY after I contacted them again, and TWO WEEKS later, did I get a reply. I was contacted by some supervisor, who was so rude and difficult that I refused to let him to my house. The man who sold me the floors inspected them... I wanted my money back. I even was willing to just be refunded the cost of the wood. READ THE WARRANTY CAREFULLY! It states that each plank of wood must be inspected before installation or the warranty is null and void once installed. If this site had the ability to show pictures, I would be only too happy to show these horrible floors. I actually had them ripped up and Pro-Source put down a quality product. It was like a day and night difference. I will say, that the man who sold them to me, was always respectful and kind. He looked distraught when he came and saw all the glue marks... and how awful the floors appeared after I cleaned them after they were installed. On the other hand, his supervisor was anything but respectful and he got angry because I would not let him my home. I do not let angry, rude men into my home! Again, if this site provided an opportunity to provide pictures I would show the massive difference between floor coverings international and the high-quality floors from pro- source.

Excellent products and customer service. Ryan T. came to our house and listened to what we were looking for. He worked with me and helped by giving us several choices to decide what was best for us. The installation went very smoothly and the flooring looks amazing. We did four different rooms and everything looks even better than we could imagine. Floor Coverings International is a fantastic company and we highly recommend them to anyone looking to get new flooring.

As a preface to this review John and his team at Floor Coverings International has previously done the tile in our entre home. When we bought our house, we knew many projects would need to be completed, and one of the first was our flooring! We unfortunately met John after another contractor had performed a subpar job. John and his team swiftly came in, removed all of the bad tile and material, and laid the new tile with meticulous and fantastic workmanship. There was no doubt when it came time to have our master shower done that John would be the first to call! Within 3 days his team removed our old 80s/90s 4x4 white tiles, the shower pan, replaced our plumbing, framed us a shampoo nook, and completed the job! They were courteous to the fact that our personal belongings were still present by covering our things, and cleaning up after themselves. He assisted us in picking out the perfect tile to complement our style, and budget. This team is worth every penny. We look forward to keeping Floor Coverings International on speed dial for our future personal homes, and investment properties. I have taken the liberty in posting before, during, and after photos. The customer service from Ryan was fantastic throughout the project. Had a crew in a few days after I hired them for a backsplash job. They were in and out quickly. Only complaint as of now, the clean up after the work could have been a little better but overall the crew was fantastic.

After researching many companies and getting many estimates, I decided to go with Floor Covering International. I have had a very bad experience last year with a contractor that was highly recommended by my real estate agent, so I was really afraid and even doubting my abilities to choose a contractor properly. I am extremely picky (I call it *selective* or I prefer to think I just have *very high standards*). I have a new home (1-year old) and I was trying to match wood floors to my existing floors, without looking like it was an after thought. Ben and Ryan were super nice, professional and responsive since the very first interaction. Any time I emailed him, he replied the same day with a phone call, to clarify all my doubts and make sure things were going to be done to my liking. The crew came at the agreed day/time: Gabriel, Franco, Santiago and Jesus. OMG they did an OUTSTANDING job! They removed the trim, installed the hardwood floors, put the trim back and painted the trim. I was very concerned about how they would paint the trim (I know they are not painters, they are a floor company). But actually the trim job looked even better than the original job done by the builders. One of the pieces got damaged when they removed it, which they said it may happen, but they replaced that piece with a new piece. Both rooms they did look spectacular, the transition from the existing floors is perfect, I cannot even tell exactly where the transition happens. They matched it perfectly for me. They also installed wood paneling in my power room for an accent wall. It looks super amazing. They kept me informed at all times of their schedule, and the crew worked very late, with my permission, to finish the project soon for me. I tried to tip and they refused. *Just doing my job* they said. :) OMG this was the best experience ever, and also the best investment in years. I am so happy! I am doing another bedroom next year, have no doubt I will call them again. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Everyone we worked with was professional, honest, kind, asked lots of questions, and when things were not done to our liking did their best to fix the issue. I wish the review could stop there, but sadly the end result shows a lack of attention to detail. The bathroom floor we had tiled looks beautiful, but the closer you look you can see that the floor is not at all level. The fireplace we had tiled also looks beautiful, but upon closer inspection is messy and will require some work from me to clean up. My biggest disappointment is the fireplace gas valve cover that I mentioned multiple times needed adjusting to make it sit flush to the tile not only does not sit flush but does not thread into the gas valve at all anymore. I was left to simply add some silicone on my own to keep the cover attached to the tile. In the long run, the gas fireplace works, however, I am left knowing my concern and request went ignored. The people were outstanding the quality of the work was just OK to good.

Very friendly and professional

From the first visit at my office in March, to the completion of the project in May, John has been the paramount professional but with a twist. His service is that of a personal friend. My project at my 1600 sq' office included carpet and paint... and a lot of equipment. He coordinated the project with the painting company. He went beyond the scope of his service, condensed his days to work to provide an extra day for the painter, who had changed the scope from 1 1/2 days to 2 days, cutting into the carpet installation by a 1/2 day. I'm a physical therapist. Being closed a week for this job is tough. I had a day on either end to pack and unpack. John's crew worked a very long day to get the carpet installed. Above that, when I returned to the office on Memorial Day, to prepare it for work on Tuesday, I had a lot of work to be done by me and my staff to be open the next day. My phone was not plugged in behind an enormous desk with a hutch. John and his wife came to my rescue. John moved my desk such that I could plug in my phone, correctly feed a cord from my computer through the hole in the back of the desk, and moved the furniture back. On a holiday evening he did this. Now, I must mention that choosing the carpet was a breeze. The installation looks amazing and I cannot see a single seam. The seam design program is worth any extra cost. I'm extremely pleased with my clinic and his customer service.
