  • Rugged Repair
It went WELL. The owner,Doug, does a GREAT job with everything,VERY PARTICULAR with his work and it shows. Only company we call for pretty much anything we want done. TOTALLY DEPENDABLE,that seems hard to find anymore.

  • MR Home Services "The Handyman"
Mike took money and never performed services. After 10 months of excuses and delays I requested my money back and he tried to corner me with his "terms and conditions". Ended up having to work with the Cedar Rapids police department to get my money back. I thought Mike was an honest, hardworking man, but clearly the Derecho made this one go sour. Strongly do not recommend

  • Chris Jackson's Contracting
Installed new bathroom exhaust fan and fixed the leaks on my roof. He also fixed other problems when he inspected the roof. I had a new roof put on my house a few years ago and had the roofer vent the exhaust fan through the roof. The roofer installed the vent but it leaked. Chris fixed the leaks. It rained pretty hard the other day and I was happy there were no leaks

  • Dan's Home Repair & Construction
He came when promised. He reset the hardware on the doors, ensuring their setting and tightness. Then he rehung the doors and re-installed on of the floor guides. He spent about thirty minutes doing so which was quicker than I could have done it back in the day.

  • Timesavers Home Improvement
She did a really good job. She’s very detail oriented, if she isn’t happy with something she will redo it. If I was ever not happy with something she came right back out without any issues. I would very highly recommend her. She is very flexible; we started out with a few things and added more projects. The price was reasonable. She quoted way better than other places and for the work was better than any other company. I would re higher her if I need to do more work

  • Dan's Home Repair & Construction
I needed my entry door from the garage to the house adjusted and a mailbox replaced. I had replaced the hinges on the door (when the springs in the old self closing ones snapped) with new ones but the door swing was off after I did this and I couldn't get it correctly adjusted. Dan came and fixed it in no time. Our mailbox was leaning due to being nudged by a neighbor girls car one winter several years ago and it had gotten to the point where we needed to replace it. As the 4x4 post still appeared to be good but just leaning, I decide to get one of those replacement mailboxes where it has a metal sleeve that slides over a 4x4 post. I wasn't sure if the old post could be straightened back up and told Dan to see what he could do, and if not then replace the post. But Dan was able to get it back straight by doing a little digging, and then cut the post to the right height, assemble the new mailbox, and slid the new mailbox over it. Turned out pretty good. Was very pleased with the work Dan did and how quickly he did it. The $120 was a resonable price for the work he performed

  • Jeremy Farris Handymen
Steve Farris did a fantastic job -- much better than I ever anticipated. He was punctual, very friendly. I had no fear whatsoever about "giving him the keys" and leaving without even the slightest hesitation. I would absolutely use Steve Farris again for all my household needs.

  • Dan's Home Repair & Construction
He was very friendly and professional. He got to work right away and got the job done. His price was extremely reasonable. I've already hired for another task. I would definitely recommend him.
