HandyWorks is a small Veteran owned handyman service that was started by Paul Boultinghouse in 2003 and has been providing exceptional handyman workmanship to the island of Oahu since. We put a lot of pride in every project we handle, from changing light switches to custom bathroom remodels, and our ultimate goal is to take our customers ideals and make them a reality. One of the ways we accomplish this by taking the time to meet with our customers at their location, at no charge, to discuss their project and how we can best help them. It gives us great satisfaction to see a smile on our customers face when we have finished their project. HandyWorks commitment to our customers is to be honest and reliable while providing quality handyman services at a reasonable rate. We are fully licensed & fully insured. Everyone on our team has workmans comp. We want to make sure to give you the best product with no risk to our clients. My team has fall protection and rigging certifications and also are lead certified. We believe in doing things correctly from washing your exterior, caulking your joints, priming correctly, to a finished product. Your home is your investment and we will make sure to protect your investment. Our goal is for all of my clients to never use another painting or drywall company. I'm glad to say that's been true from the day I started. Your all my new family and will be treated as such. You can install backsplash on kitchen drywall, as long as you ensure your drywall is clean and dry before you apply the tiles. Your kitchen walls should be made of green board drywall, which is moisture-resistant. If you don’t have green board where your new backsplash will go, you should swap it out.

Drywall is safe to cut as long as you follow proper procedures, such as wearing personal protective equipment and using the right tools to score and cut the drywall. When cutting new drywall, it can release dust with silica and other compounds that could pose health risks. Leave cutting drywall to the pros, or wear a high-quality respiratory mask, goggles, and other PPE when handling drywall.

The average cost to apply a skip-trowel drywall texture to walls is $1.25 to $2.00 per square foot. Ceilings cost slightly more because of the increased difficulty of working overhead. Additional cost factors include any drywall repairs and removal of existing textures or wallpaper.

The two most common types of drywall are ½-inch and ⅝-inch thick white or gray drywall.
