"He is fabulous. He did a restoration after flooding for us. He is an artist. He did a whole hallway and there are no ripples. He is kind and courteous. He cleaned up after himself and did small things that we were not expecting from him. He is excellent. We were unable to find anything wrong with his work. He was referred to us by a friend. He fixed an electricians mess without being asked."

"Anthony is amazing! He covers the whole island for us maintaining our vacant properties and does an outstanding job! He is excellent at communicating and provides great service at a great price. I can trust him with any of our properties and it gives me great peace of mind knowing that our properties are taken care of while I'm here on the mainland and can't be there in person. Our properties always look great I can't recommend him enough!"

"I needed someone to take my utilitarian needs for a safe, weatherproof, predator proof, easy to clean out and aesthetically pleasing chicken coop, run and nest boxes. I didn’t have exact plans but just things it had to included. Stephan went above and beyond to make the coop so strong, I swear you could pass building code and rent it out. lol. Aloha. I was in the restaurant industry for 30 years. Over that time I have done many renovations to new and existing restaurants. Concurrently I was in construction and remodeling my own dwellings. During Covid I was helping out so many people with odd jobs and other tasks that friends & family encouraged me to take a chance and go into business for myself. In these challenging times I offer competitive flat rate pricing. I can do just about any home services including small remodels. I have a power washer services, lawn services and car maintenance and care services as well. As i say "Any kine work, All kine skills". Mahalo for your consideration. \nJosh

Drywall FAQs, answered by experts

A local drywall contractor can texture your drywall for you. Drywall contractors are a better choice than general handy people because the contractors have a lot of experience working with drywall mud. The process is somewhat of an art thanks to the complexity of working with the mud, so call in a drywall pro who knows what they’re doing.

Drywall insulation costs around $1,800, on average, but prices can range from $500 to $4,500, depending on a few different factors. The following things are important considerations to make when pricing out your insulation project:

  • Square footage of insulation

  • Type of insulation

  • Climate in your area and the insulation R-value required

  • Whether or not your walls are already finished

  • Accessibility of the area

  • Whether or not you need old insulation removed first

If you only have tiny holes in your drywall (for example, dents or nail marks), you probably won’t need a patch kit. Instead, you can plug the hole with a small amount of spackle. Once the spackle dries, you can sand the area and paint over it—just like you would in the steps outlined above.

For maximum stability, install grab bars on wall studs, as this will adequately support the weight. However, if you don't have access to studs, you can get by with wall anchors. If opting for the latter, choose specialty hollow wall anchors.

It doesn’t matter which way you lay drywall, and you can choose to install it horizontally or vertically depending on the size of the wall and how tall the ceiling is. It’s easier to lay drywall sheets vertically if you have a taller ceiling, but laying sheets horizontally makes it easier to apply joint compound.
