[Member Name Removed], we want to begin by apologizing for any miscommunication that may have led to this frustrating experience. Although we would have liked to complete the bathroom project in 1.5 weeks, we could not promise it would be finished in that time frame, and we're sorry for the additional delay. We provided you with a toilet during that time so you would not be without, although we understand the inconvenience of not having a fully functional bathroom during the time we were completing the remodel. Our team did recommend a new toilet since the rest of your bathroom is brand new, and a 35-year-old toilet is more likely to have problems as it gets moved around. Our only intention was to offer the best renovation possible and to prevent future issues. As a company that stands behind the quality of our work, we were happy to refund $1000 for the areas of the bathroom that did not meet our standards. At that time, you seemed satisfied and wanted to continue onto the kitchen. It seems that the most confusion centered around this particular contract. In it, we stated certain areas would not be included in the estimate - specifically drywall repair - because until we remove the countertop, we aren't sure of the degree of damage to the drywall, or if it will need repair at all. Our craftsmen are trained to repair drywall properly, and unfortunately, this requires more than spackling. We are sorry for your dissatisfaction, as we value our customers' satisfaction and did all we could to make things right.
