We were not aware that if your home is near trees and plants there is a natural path for mold/mildew to grow. The workers applied a mist of bleach on the soffits, and rinsed the house before they left. We have not been billed yet, but in the crazy business of getting ready to move, their responsiveness and professionalism is priceless! Definitely recommend this company!
"We are always unhappy when we fail to satisfy a customer. Our proposals are very detailed regarding the scope of work, and we do not simply add costs for the same scope of work. With this particular project, there was quite a bit of drywall prep and repair, and we had agreed to a certain amount and level of finish quality detailed in the proposal, however, when we did our prejob walkthrough, there was a lot of work added that was not detailed on the proposal, which we submitted a price to the customer for, and he then accepted. We updated the proposal and contract for the new amount prior to beginning any work on the home, and agreed with the customer on the new price before any mobilization or work took place. We do not accept payment until the job is complete, and at any time, if the customer felt uncomfortable with the work, we could have solved any issues with pricing or scope. These issues did not come up at the time, and we are sorry to be finding out over a year later that this customer was unhappy about the proposal. As for the paint, we discussed sheens of paint specifically with this customer, as he had requested using a flat paint. We provided Sherwin Williams Showcase Interior in a flat finish, and we discussed with the customer that anytime you select a flat finish paint, the walls will be more susceptible to marking. We did have some trouble with coverage, but we added 3rd coats where needed to achieve coverage without charging any additional cost to the customer. Ultimately, if the customer is unhappy, we regard that as a failure on our part, and encourage customers to call us back directly if they feel we have not fulfilled our obligations, as we strive to make all customers happy with our process and the quality of our work. We provide a standard 5 year warranty that includes workmanship with our projects because we believe in the quality of our work. Unfortunately, sometimes customers are unhappy with their color or sheen choices, but we always leave those decisions to the customer, and offer as much guidance as possible so our customers understand the benefits and risks of each decision."
